excellent location: beach just across the street, another at the back, many good restaurants in the close neighborhood. Walking distance from harbour and old town. Car rentals nearby. Very friendly and helpful staff, all English speaking. Classy restaurant, excellent breakfast, good buffet, all you want. Spacious rooms, all you need, clean, airconditioned, silent. Nice terras with seaview is a bonus. (not all rooms have this).

Best thing about the hotel is the location - right on the beach and amongst a number of restaurants, cafes and bars. 15-20 minutes walk to the old town itself. The beach itself is sand/shingle and perfect for swimming, more sheltered than the other side of the point with mostly very calm, flat water. Loungers are 10 euro for the whole day and you can leave and return as you have a wristband for the day. The folks will help you find a place and move the loungers around for you if needed. Drinks and snacks are also available at the beach. We found the hotel itself rather disappointing. The room itself was as to be expected from this class of hotel. The balcony was in shade all day, which was a positive for us, but if you like your sun maybe contact the hotel direct to request a sunny aspect. A downside was the provision of a coffee pod type machine in the room. Four coffee pods were provided with a note that further pods can be bought from the hotel at a cost of 1.80 euros each, which is a ludicrous price. We bought pods from one of the many local supermarkets. Also, the hotel's guide notes stated that the fridge was not to be used for anything of our own and that ice could be bought from reception. Both of these issues seemed very penny-pinching for a hotel of this standard. The hotel guidance notes mentioned that a towel service was available for the hotel's pool, with a returnable deposit, but it made no mention that the same was available to take towels to the beach. The breakfasts were very good with plenty of choice available. Staff on the whole were attentive and helpful, Ervina in particular was extremely helpful at breakfast time, and the room cleaners were efficient and friendly. Overall the hotel was comfortable, but with a few important drawbacks. However the location made it worth staying simply for that alone.
