Beautiful hotel with amazing and friendly staff. A warm helpful welcome from the start, helped into our sea view room from the reception team. As we had a late flight there was sandwiches and water, coffee and tea waiting for us, which we really appreciated. The breakfast room and selection of various food was lovely as were the servers there. As for the hotel, it was exceptionally clean, well looked after and all areas, bars, restaurants were welcoming the service was great. I would highly recommend for a relaxing holiday on the beach with lots of pools and were you are looked after by everyone there.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our holiday here, beautiful hotel,well appointed and great staff all of whom couldn’t do enough for us, try and carry your drinks from the bar to your seats and get scolded, always to hand poolside to serve drinks. Reception staff very friendly and helpful to provide bus timetables ( bus stops at entrance to hotel ) being adult only nice and quiet, room and bathroom modern ,immaculate and well sound proofed ,would highly recommend.

Pros Room clean tidy modern, soap, shower gel, shampoo, rainfall shower, towels, robes, slippers, safe, full entry mirror, travel hair dryer, large balcony. Buttons for cleaning and do not disturb. 1 x 1L bottle of water per day although towards end of stay additional small bottles and 2cans on coke appeared Breakfast continental and hot foods, cereals, yoghurts, teas, nuts, toast various breads , staff welcoming Top tip take a cool bottle and fill is with free water and ice at breakfast to take out and about during the day until the water in your room is cold as they don’t put it in fridge for you All pools immaculate surroundings - saw staff cleaning them each morning and pool guy mopping water and any spillages away from poolside through day. Lifeguards and life saving floats, spine boards etc. waiter seri e only at main pool. Sun loungers very comfortable lots of them at various pools, bean bag loungers plenty of them too, sun bed reservation not allowed however you can leave for lunch - available at pool bar, Masari or at street food hub where it’s often hard to get a table as this is shared with Helea family hotel next door. Beach cabanas if which there are 6 with bean bag loungers are free. Pool and towel exchange (next to main pool bar) is open 10-6pm each day - swimming only allowed to during these times - presume due to chemical cleaning Poolside service of snacks and drinks was very good Cons Since starting and updating my notes before posting I looked at latest reviews and was not surprised to see a number of ppl complaining about the food. We also complained about the evening buffet after our 1st night as it was pretty awful in all honestly, some guests (not us) were greeted with a small shot/sip of what I presume was ouza and a little amuse bouche. What was on offer was pitiful, and like warm at best one chicken dish which was chicken thighs that looked fatty and greasy, greasy veg,some kind of stew think it was lamb. There was a lovely big pig under hot lamp drying out and no one carving it, waited a while but no one came. No pizza left - didn’t see it getting replenished, the two things that were ok was a (meant to be hot) pasta dish which had no sauce therefore pretty dry and small cups of pasta with ham, these were starters and meant to be cold. Dessert mousse tasteless. When we complained to guest relations they said no one had ever complained about the food in any of their restaurants, I said that I found that to be unbelievable……turns out from other reviews and speaking to other guests they had also complained. Not good enough for a 4.5* hotel especially at €45 per person! After this we never ate in the hotel again other than breakfast which was included in price. However I should say our complaint was dealt with satisfactorily. Download to Elissa app and all menus for each bar/restaurant is listed including prices Breakfast minor complaint is there is only unsalted butter and margarine. Never saw anyone with margarine and unsalted butter is completely tasteless and I personally don’t know anyone who would choose it. Also a little variety would have been nice, literally same barely like warm food, in same place every day!! Mixture of fruits some whole, some sliced and a lot tinned. Pancakes often only cooked on one side. On 2 occasions ordered coffee it never came, another time my partner ordered a latte it came cold and was just milk….they hadn’t added the coffee 🤦🏼‍♀️ the other 6 mornings we weren’t even offered coffee! Lots of teas to try though Room - small drying rail, air con is central air through all the rooms we set ours to 19° full fan and I swear it never reached 19 once therefore our air con was running full blast day and night, spoke to others who said the same so if you like fierce air con and super cool this won’t happen. No iron and they won’t give you one you have to pay their Landry service. First few days the tv app offered a pillow menu which looked great as pillows were awful but after 2 days this option disappeared. Also the comfortable arm chair shown in the online pics of a deluxe room with sea view was infact hard uncomfortable plastic so couldn’t use it. There would actually have been no room for the armchair room definitely not as big as pictured Our room was in block 4, this and the one next door (5) had kids in the shared pool rooms which I’d be furious about if I’d booked that type of room in an adult only hotel, then to be met with screaming crying children. Gate security on asking for our hotel name and room number told us repeatedly that was a Helea block not Elissa. The tv screen also showed Helea so I believe this is a mixed block - though only aware of kids on ground floor pool rooms - this was confirmed when on check out bellboy took us and cases to Helea reception we pointed out we were Elissa guests and he confirmed block 4 for is Helea hotel guests. Staff have replied to previous trip advisor reviews that the two hotels are separate buildings - this is not true, some ARE shared and it is annoying when you specifically book and PAY for adults only Nothing in way of evening entertainment and nothing nearby, so if you like any form of night life, as in restaurants, chilled bars, little streets to explore/people watch the closest is Rhodes town, €2.50 pp each way on bus or taxi €15 each way. This is also same price to go into Falaraki. There’s nothing happening in this hotel to keep us in the bar at night and drinks are expensive we took our hard drive of films and tv programs plugged into tv and bought drinks and snacks from nearby supermarkets One day the Spa girls walked round the pool handing out vouchers for spa but only to selected people not to everyone, which upon speaking to others at the pool a lot weren’t happy about this this and couldn’t believe they would give to some and not others. We weren’t too bothered as we go for regular Thai masssge at home and regardless of a voucher the spa was expensive - I suspect why they were trying to drum up business Pool - the white concrete walls/floor of the inside of main pool (I wasn’t in the others) is stained orange and needs treated/scrubbed. Sun loungers were badly stained for a hotel that only opened last summer- 2023 Witnessed guest services being asked where sunset yoga was taking place and they didn’t seem to know Day of check out (11am) having packed our cases and trying to sleep as long as possible as our flight doesn’t landed until 2am UK time which would be 4am to us as Rhodes is 2hrs ahead……housekeeping came into our room at 8.45am asked if we were sleeping obvs we were shocked and they left. To be fair we hadnt clicked our do not disturb button but didn’t feel it was necessary for 2 reasons I don’t believe house keeping should be going to any room in an adult only resort before 9am and secondly it’s on their sheet that we check out at 11am so they have all day to then clean the room! Needless to say this made for a grumpy start to our last day Checkout 11am - enquired re late check out as not getting picked up for airport until 7.45pm, journey takes about 30mins. Advised late check out could only be arranged the day before we leave and IF our room or any room was available we would be changed €12 per hour to keep it. We decided against this and were told we can use the shower facilities in the gym for free. However after breakfast we stopped at reception to ask where the gym was for shorts later to discover we had been allocated the room across from the one we’d been staying in until 5pm free of charge. This was very welcome.
