Just back from a week at Relax Hotel and we definitely were able to relax while there. It was the first week of the season and the hotel was very quiet when we arrived. It got a little busier as the week went on but always quiet and relaxing. Plenty of sunbeds while we were there. The pool is a good size and very clean. The sunbeds looked new and had umbrellas between every 2. The pool has a small seated jacuzzi area and a small children's pool. There are more sunbeds on a grassed area at the side of the pool. The food was very nice. The selection increased as the week went on but always at least 3 or 4 main dishes to choose from plus 1 or 2 vegetarian options. There was a choice of salads each day. Lunchtime dessert was either fruit or ice cream with dinner desserts being a choice of 2 or 3 - cake, jelly, yoghurt, fruit and ice cream. There was a good choice for breakfast with cereals, continental, breads, fruit, cake, pastries, 2 or 3 choices of egg and cooked choices as well as jams and spreads, Turkish delight, dried fruit etc. The hotel, rooms and grounds were spotlessly clean with rooms being cleaned and towels changed every other day and bathrooms being cleaned and bin emptied every day. Apart from other guests being loud in the echoing corridors (not the hotels fault and obviously depends on other guests who are there are the same time) the hotel itself was very quiet. All staff at the hotel were very friendly and hard working. The evenings were spent in the hotel pool bar playing games we had taken with us. There is Greek music playing, which is nice but it's not a party atmosphere if that's what you are after. There is a bus stop literally outside the hotel. We visited Lindos and Rhodes during our stay, both of which are around 40 minutes away. Two beaches within a few minutes walk. The main high street with shops, restaurants and bars is only a few minutes walk away. We also walked the Monastery Trail which you can find the start of on Google Maps. There are other reviews on TripAdvisor for this. It was worth it but a lot of walking and climbing. The mountain is just the start! On the whole we had a very good relaxing holiday. The ideal place for a quiet getaway. Not really the place for those who like the nightlife or a more lively holiday but for us as a middle aged couple who aren't fussy eaters it was perfect.

“Very Relaxing holiday!!”

Just got back from a lovely 10 day holiday at Relax hotel. It was very quiet when we arrived as it was the first week of the season. This hotel is immaculately clean. They have spent a lot of money during the winter to freshen this hotel up for the season. Everywhere looked freshly painted, and new sunbeds. Pool is lovely, quite cold, but I don't mind, so refreshing when it's hot.!! No fighting for sunbeds, everybody had their own spots everyday, which was geat. There's also a nice bit of garden area if you don't like to be near the pool. Rooms are great, spacious and clean, comfy bed. Balcony is not in direct sunlight, only in the morning, which is lovely for getting ready for dinner, and you can chill in the shade! The owner Nikolas is a wonderful gentleman, says hello to everybody. Every single one of the staff were fantastic. Our favourite is Vasilis (one of the waiters!!) , but they were all amazing. Food was great Lots of choice at breakfast, all fresh, cooked breakfast, lovely thick greek yogurt, loads of breads/pastries/ fruit etc. Lunch was also great, fresh salads, and a choice of meat/fish/ pasta everyday. Evening meal was a choice of 4 or 5 mains, rice,pasta, potatoes. Fresh salad again, and a choice of 3 or 4 deserts. Beer and wine on tap, also a Pepsi machine to help yourself in the pool bar and dining room! The main street is 5 min walk from the hotel, it has lots of souvenir shops, a few cocktail bars and a handful of restaurants, all of which were very busy in the evenings. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel gate, timetable at reception. We went to Lindos for a day. You xan pay for your ticket on the bus £4, but when you get to Lindos, make sure you buy a return ticket fom the kiosk as you can't buy a return on the bus (limited number of tickets) The hotel is very close to 2 beaches. Directly opposite the hotel gate is a path that goes up a small mountain, great spot to watch both sunrise and sunset. All in all, fantasic holiday, would not hesitate to recommend or stay here again. ευχαριστώ Efcharisto!!

“not what it said”

it said there was free wifi but the wifi is paid and its extremely expensive but on the other side it had an excelent personel but the rooms werent as big as they looked on the photos so 3 stars is apropriete i think and the food there is very badly cooked
