Ahmed makes the best drinks at the pool bar. Very helpful and polite, you gotta try his Frappe and Iced coffees. True legend.. overall good accommodation, good pool plenty to do for the family. American diner not great as the others with set menu and poor English

Such a beautiful experience and atmosphere. It smelt amazing the second you walked in, and the therapists were all so friendly and welcoming. I (F20) had the blue velvet 20 minute massage with Katerina and she was amazing she did a wonderful job and at no point did I feel too exposed or uncomfortable, she continued to ask if I was okay and if it all felt okay which was so sweet. She used a scrub on me and after showering at the spa my skin feels silky smooth and it smells unreal! My boyfriend got the rebirth facial with Juliano, he said it was extremely relaxing and he did a very good job. It was a calming atmosphere and it was the correct amount of pressure. Not too hard or too light. Although me and my boyfriend booked separate treatments, they took us into a room where we could still be together and spend that time with each other.

“A really lovely family trip, perfect with children”

We are a family of 4- 2 boys- one 5 year old, and one 10 month old, stayed in the Relax section of this hotel between 12th June to the 26th June! We are a family of 4- 2 boys- one 5 year old, and one 10 month old, stayed in the Relax section of this hotel between 12th June to the 26th June! We really recommend this area as it’s more quiet without lots of activities going on, has the pool bar and the snack hut is by this pool. We didn’t bother with a swim up room as we have a crawling baby. The life guard Leah around the relax pool is so so lovely and checked on us daily! She also made games up for the kids to do, to get them to play together. There is no shade at all in the pool, so if you have a baby or young children make sure bring stuff to keep them covered in the pool. Maria and Spiros in the Relax pool bar are brilliant- you can get lots of different drinks, water and ice creams from here, they were always happy! Debbie and Deniz in the snack hut was incredible! They would make lots of requests, from toasties, burgers, chicken nuggets, salads, baguettes and chips etc! They love everyone and made such an effort! Rooms- rooms cleaned daily and beds made, with fresh towels! There is a mini bar that is restocked daily too with water, beer, fizzy drinks! There is a kettle with tea bag’s etc! Hairdryer is a bit weak but all ok and does the job! We had a ground floor room and was perfect, the balcony part is a really good size with a table and chairs and drying rack. Swim academy- I couldn’t recommend this any more if I tried- the swim instructors- Siri, Merceydeez and Sian are so so lovely and make such an effort with the children! My 5 year old did a group 5 lesson course for 40 euros, he had 2 lessons as a group of 3, then the final 3 lessons he had one to ones due to the other children going home! He made so so much progress in those 5 lessons- from a child who didn’t have technique but could swim and petrified of getting sinkers, by the end of the 5 lessons, he had technique, swimming on his own and getting sinkers! He loved the lessons as they made them fun, but his confidence just blossomed! They also did parent and toddler sessions which we attended with my 10 month old- they were brilliant and were free! When you sign up to swim academy you get a bag and goggles and then you are presented with a certificate on stage at the end! They write lovely personalised messages on the certificates for each child. You can sign your child up at the Irish bar each day at 2.30pm. Entertainment- the entertainment team at this hotel work so hard! We didn’t see a lot of the day entertainment as that is round the activity pool and we generally went to the relax area, but there was dance workshops for the kids, water polo, meet the widgets etc. The evening entertainment started with all the children stuff- widgets show, PTY etc then slowly went into more adult stuff. We preferred the onsite entertainment rather than the local acts that were brought in. Maria and Corina are brilliant and full of life and energy! Kitty, Pedro, Lucas and Marta do lots of different genre singing and dancing acts most nights- the talent on that stage is incredible and they try to cater for everyone. Crèche- we didn’t use the crèche but did the stay and play a couple of times with Kayley and Jess- Kayley and Jess were so lovely with both my boys- and really made an effort with them whenever they see them around the hotel. Sickness- the one thing that was tough on this holiday was that my 5 year old went down with a sickness bug, this seemed to go round the children in the hotel very quickly. He came down with it 6 days into the holiday and was very sick for 3 days. I spoke to the hotel who wouldn’t tell me if other people had reported sickness, but there was children being sick in the restaurant, one was sick in the pool so it was evident my little boy wasn’t the only one. I know the hotel cannot control a sickness bug coming into the hotel, but we noticed that the restaurant wasn’t being cleaned in between families, just new cutlery- if the originals weren’t used previously- were added and then the next family were sitting there. This is obviously then going to spread things like sickness bugs very quickly. I complained to TUI and the hotel about this. After a few days we noticed TUI managers in the restaurant and then the tables were then being striped and cleaned properly! One day when by little boy was sick on the bedding I rung reception for new bedding twice- it took 5 hours and then I went down to reception to complain- once talking to Irene the manager I finally had new bedding and a guest liaison lady came to see us to bring us anything we needed like water etc, towels. It got sorted in the end, but I wasn’t happy with the hotel at this point but they did rectify it in the end. Restaurant- we mainly used the restaurant for breakfast and evening meal, we used the snack huts for lunch. As I said previously- we wasn’t happy with the cleanliness of the tables at all, but this did get sorted throughout the holiday! The food was lovely and lots of choice with different cooking stations. It is a serve yourself buffet with drinks and food, which was better for us having a young family and not having to wait for a waiter. The cutlery, plates and glasses needed cleaning better as many times they were still dirty, and we had to rifle through to find clean ones. Bars- we used the activity entertainment bar and the pool bar at the relax section! There is steps up to the bar so the children can get there own drinks which we thought was brilliant. Food huts- there is the food hut with Debbie by the relax pool, then there is a noodle bar in the activity area along with another snack bar where you can also get gyros! These were really nice. Rhodes town shuttle- you can get a shuttle from the hotel direct to Rhodes town for 6 euros each, each way, you can book onto this at reception- they collect you at 9.25 and get picked up at Rhodes town at 3pm. Overall we had a lovely holiday apart from the sickness and cleanliness of the restaurant that you would expect from a 5 star hotel, having stayed in other 5 star hotels, we would say this is more of a 4 star. The staff completely make this hotel, especially the staff mentioned who made our holiday so good.

We came here for our ‘family moon’ just after getting married the week before. I booked this hotel as it is rated as 5* and looked prefect for us and our 3 year old twins. I paid extra and booked us in the relax area. This hotel is not 5*. Rooms - the rooms are tired and need updating, especially the bathrooms! As I have said I paid for us to be in the relax area but we could still hear the entertainment blaring away after 10pm. Restaurants - we stayed for 11 nights and had access to two of the Al a carte restaurants and could visit once to each one. This is misleading on the TUI website the way it is written sounds like there are more than two. The buffet restaurant is like a school canteen, it’s unclean, the cutlery and crockery are dirty and not washed properly, I had to rifle through them to find cleans ones to use. The kids corner for food is all fried food, frozen chopped veg and cakes. You really need to look at providing fresh healthy food for kids! Not all kids want to constantly eat fish fingers, chicken nuggets, burgers and chips! The tables aren’t cleaned between guests being seated and the staff are rude! I actually complained to the Tui rep about the food and a few other things who gave us access to the cosmopolitan restaurant, the food was marginally better during the day, evening meals much better but the staff in there were beyond rude to us, until one night Manos saw me at the reception desk about to complain and called us over, from then on completely changed his tune! We went in to Kolymbia 4 nights out of 11 and paid for meals out as we couldn’t eat in the hotel any more! Bars - The staff at the pool bar were lovely and made lovely cocktails etc for us and even alcohol free ones for the kids. You can get ice creams and coffees here too but it doesn’t open till 10am and closes at 6pm there is then no bar in the relax area open till 9pm therefore you have to go to the activity side. The bar there is fine but they only have about 2 members of staff on so there is always a long queue to get drinks. Food huts - the food hut run by Debbie in the relax area was great, she is so friendly and understands everything you ask for and makes it quickly. The food huts in the activity area are fine, the noodle bar is great opening at 1pm and the snack bar does the job. Overall this hotel is not 5* I would say 4 star. We did have a nice holiday but the food and restaurants really let this place down and I wouldn’t return. Most of the staff are rude, TUI rep was lovely and couldn’t fault him. To be honest I think he agreed with everything I complained about! For the amount of money we paid to come here I was disappointed at what we got. I have paid less to stay at other 5* hotels that have been out of this world.
