We moved to this hotel after a not-so pleasant stay at a different hotel and oh my, what a difference! From entering the hotel, it is absolutely stunning. The lobby and piano bar area are just beautiful. We were greeted by lovely receptionists who were very helpful with any questions we had throughout our stay & anytime we rang down to ask for anything, they were quick and efficient and just a pleasure to speak to. Every single staff member we spoke to was a delight and couldn’t do enough for us. Sam at the pool bar makes the most amazing pina colada! The drinks in general were great. We were half board so did not eat here for every meal but the meals we did have, were absolutely delicious. Really well made & high quality dishes, I particularly enjoyed the wide variety available at breakfast and evening meals. There was even rib eye steak available one night at the buffet and I was shocked (in a delighted way) at how well cooked it was. Our room was a decent size with a lovely bathroom, the only thing I will note about the room negatively is that the sofa bed was quite uncomfortable, there were 3 of us and I slept on the sofa bed, the main bed was great though. I was very happy to see a kettle so I could have a coffee in the morning on the balcony, which was topped up daily along with water for us all. The room was well cleaned and it was a lovely touch to have robes and slippers for all of us. We went to the rooftop bar a couple of evenings, it gives a lovely view from up there and the entertainment was of a high standard and really enjoyable. The pool areas were really well maintained & plenty of sunbeds for everyone, the middle pool is the only one that is not freezing though, so that tended to be very busy! Although you get used to it once you’re in the other ones. The location is close by to the old town, with a bus stop right outside the hotel & a taxi is only €10 if you don’t want to get the bus. There is a couple of bars and restaurants along the road where the hotel is but not too much within walking distance. There is a beach across the road too, I would recommend wearing water shoes as it is pebbly and sore on the feet. I am planning to come back here next year with my partner this time but will go all inclusive as I really think it is worth it - especially as the drinks can get quite expensive without, at about €10 a cocktail. Thank you for making the rest of our holiday an enjoyable experience.

Our fourth visit to this wonderful hotel so this in itself is proof of how much we love it ! We always upgrade to a Seafacing Room which we highly recommend All the staff are exceptional and work incredibly hard to make sure your holiday is memorable 😊 We have the Half Board options which allows us to enjoy buffet at lunchtime and experience the lovely local Greek restaurants all within easy walking distance in the evening This year as the weather was beautiful and very little wind we spent most of our days on the beach swimming in the clear waters once you pass the stones entry (take sea shoes ) . We would then spend the last hour enjoying the sunshine by the pool and whatever time of day you could always get a sun bed so please stop people reserving them there is no need ! Entertainment in the late bar was varied and good to have somewhere for a nightcap 😊 Shout out to all the exceptional staff including the Management team and reception staff who were always charming. We love the OP and will be back next year and hope all the staff enjoy a relaxing winter

Nice hotel with nice grounds and good facilities. Rooms are clean, good size and comfortable, but the view from the rooms at the back of the hotel are pretty non existent as you just stare at a rock face and some trees.. Nice hotel with nice grounds and good facilities. Rooms are clean, good size and comfortable, but the view from the rooms at the back of the hotel are pretty non existent as you just stare at a rock face and some trees.. However, for our last minute, 11 night HB stay, 50 euros a night for a sea view upgrade seemed a bit steep so we stayed put. We found the Pool area too noisy, so spent our lazy days on the pebble beach opposite the hotel which we found quite relaxing, the sea was beautiful and the sunbeds free. There's also a nice little beach bar for lunch and drinks. Food in the hotel was very good, you'd have to have a very fussy pallet to not find something to enjoy, the restaurant was also very organised and spotlessly clean. Not sure why Greek hotels offer all inclusive, it just kills the local economy, and Ixia seems to be a good example of that. There's a few bars and tavernas outside the hotel, but it's not the prettiest place I've ever visited, so we chose to eat in the hotel. There's a public Bus stop outside the main gate. and for 2 euros you can travel the 3.5 miles into Rhodes. Alternatively, it's 12 euros in a taxi, or a very pleasant 1 hour walk... we did all three options during our stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Recommend the trips to Symi and Lindos from Rhodes harbour, we chose to go with Rhodes sealine, a bright red speedboat that does the crossing in an hour for 40 euros pp... Great value.

We stayed here for 12 nights Hotel foyer entrance etc is 5 star Also pool area is very good too We had room 619 sea view Room was large but very dated bathroom needs attention as shower over bath dated Big crack in sink Sunbeds on balcony but they are old and dirty We had single beds pushed together they were awful to sleep on Maybe need new mattress they had a topper on but so uncomfortable. Food Breakfast is always cold no problems with choice but baked beans always cold and bacon etc Dinner Good selection this was always hot Enough choice for us Greek lunchtime restaurant This was so nice for lunch and fresh Mexican a la carte was really good also the Italian was excellent We enjoyed our stay but would not return as this is no way near a 5 star resort hotel The rooms desperately need updating All staff were very kind and helpful Found reception a bit abrupt but maybe how they are We were all inclusive drinks were fine In summary rooms need updating and breakfast needs to be hotter The outside areas are beautiful with the pods fire pit etc
