Ended up here by accident at 10:30pm yet we were welcomed and catered for as we asked despite the time. Lovely staff, delicious food and a relaxing atmosphere. Would highly recommend if looking for a peaceful get away.

We have been on Rhodes in July 2015 and stayed at Ladiko for about a week for holidays: relaxing in combination with cultural exploration of the island (Kameiros, Lindos, Rhodes town) was what we aimed for. Ladiko hotel served very well for this purpose. The biggest pro of the cozy hotel is its nice quiet location within nature on top of Ladiko bay. There is a wonderful view from the restaurant terrace down to the sea and it's only a three-minute walk down the hill to the beach of Ladiko bay. There are quite a few large rocks in the water, so it's required to be a bit careful and remember these spots, but the reward will be high as swimming in the quiet bay is a phantastic experience. The small beach is far from crowded as there is only one other hotel nearby. There is also the possibility the walk to the Anthony Quinn bay (maybe 10 min footwalk). Scenery is even more spectacular there, but swimming is also more difficult due to rocks. The only slight disadvantage of the remote location is transport: Whereas there is a bus stop in front of the hotel, there are only a few connections to Rhodes town each day. For other directions (e.g. to Lindos), you have to walk approximately 1km to a bus stop at the main street. Sometimes it may be the best option to call a taxi when going to a remote location: We did it for visiting the excavation site of Ancient Kameiros in the early morning, as well as for transportation to and from the airport. The hotel itself consists, apart from the main building, of a couple of two-storey buildings within a wonderful garden area. The rooms are tidy and in a good shape, the bathroom is surprisingly large -- for Greek standards. The only disadvantage w.r.t. sleep comfort is the rather high noise level from the fridge - we decided to turn off after the first night and never used it again. There is no pool, no in-room tv, no entertainment program, there are no animators, nobody to forces you into some activities etc. We did not miss anything of that sort, but of course it depends on your expectations. There is a small playground in front of the hotel and opportunity for table-tennis in the cellar (bring your own rackets if you want to play seriously!), so it's possible to visit with children, but I think the place is most suitable for couples. The breakfast buffet is generally good with a selection large enough for having sufficient variety for a week, even for people who do not wish to adopt to the local style of keeping breakfast severely limited. We booked individually, and thus ate in the hotel-restaurant a la carte, mostly for dinner, but also lunch a couple of times when not being on a days trip. The food is tavern-style: traditional, solid Greek food, decent quality, but of course no haute cuisine. Nevertheless, we did not regret the fact that there is virtually no other restaurant (except a beach tavern) around. The selection is wide enough for a week. In particular the shrimp saganaki can be recommended. The cocktails we tried were also of above-average quality. In summary, we can only recommend Ladiko hotel, provided you have similar expectations regarding your holidays.

“Great place”

We've got there by accident. But it was the best eccident ever. The manager is very nice and very generous. The greatest view all over the island. Definitely coming back. Very good gyros at the hotel.

So if you are looking gor a quite economic place near a beach thats the right place.
