Just got back after a lovely week here. The hotel is lovely and the staff are fabulous! We were half board, the breakfast was a buffet style, great with lots of choice. I would only recommend half board if you didn’t have fussy eaters in your party. Only an option of one starter and one dessert each night. The main courses are a choice of two meals, which are ordered the previous evening, the adults ate something from each option each night, there was a couple of nights when the kids had to order something different from the menu (paid for) all food was amazing and generous sized portions. The evening prices are typical for the area but we found the brunch menu served till about 3pm were very reasonable. The rooms are basic but what you expect for a 3* the only thing I would have really liked would have been for rooms to have had a broom/dustpan and brush. Ants were a slight problem if the children left crumbs that I missed. Small very basic kitchen but as expected for a 3* Beds although quite firm were actually quite comfy. Aircon as mentioned in other reviews is to be paid separate but is worth it. We were put on the top floor (3rd) at first and can feel like a trek with your cases but due to my partner having mobility issues we were moved to the ground floor on our second day (when a room became available as totally booked) First shower was small and water did spread across the bathroom, second bathroom poss double the size and the water still managed to go everywhere, these to us are minor thing are no real problem, we used the shower mat and a towel to clear up the mess because it’s so was hot they were dry so quick. Pool and bar area are lovely and I would definitely rate higher than 3* I’ve added a few pics for you to see. There were inflatables around the pool that people left and were free for all to use. Some days there were sun beds available but mostly gone by 9.30. There is an adult pool next door, which I’m not quite sure why some guest didn’t use as they didn’t love when they were splashed by children or adults having fun…fyi it’s only water so no need for the grumps. It seemed mostly couples at first with a few more families arriving towards the end. I would say 90% of the guest were lovely and very friendly. Evenings are very chilled with music playing in the background which was actually really relaxing. Shops/Beach are not too far away, there are two supermarkets but we were advised to turn left as you leave the hotel and left again and left when you get to the Main Street (opposite Gregory’s, a cheap, tasty lunch stop) a little walk up and you get to the first supermarket, there is another A-B supermarket further up (which is easier to get to if you turn right out of hotel but apparently a hilly walk) slightly cheaper prices. Probably a 5 min walk if no children, us with one who complained his legs didn’t work it took about 10! Main bars, beach, taxi and bus station are just across the main road by the supermarket, straight down the road by dessert rose is probably easiest to explain. If we ever return to Faliraki we would definitely stay at Anika again and would recommend

This hotel is lovely. The staff will help you however they can with any requests. The rooms were of good basic standard. We had breakfast included which was a buffet style. People do reserve sunbeds from 8am onwards but we never had an issue as was always up around this time and only did a couple of pool days. The food at the hotel was brilliant particularly the chicken souvlaki. The hotel is quite a walk from the main square fine for just adults but if you have young children who are too big for a pushchair this was quite a mission ! Renting a car was definitely the best way to explore everywhere we wanted to go in a week. You do have to pay for air con. The only downside was my daughter got harassed by one of the male waiters on her way back to our apartment when she told him she was only 14 this did not deter him ! Special mention to Anastasia and Jessica who were absolutely lovely.

The Hotel was up a hill with two nice pools but way more people than sunbeds. Although lovely rooms and the hotel had been decorated/refurbished to a very good standard, some things we were lacking. We had one hanger in the whole wardrobe in our room for two people. There are no drawers to put any clothes in either. The shower head didn't fit into the shower head holder. There was One bowl,one plate and 2 glasses. There was no toaster, no microwave, no grill. We asked if we could have a toaster but were advised to look for one in a shop ourselves and buy one but didn't find one. It wasn't really possible to call it self-catering. Incase anyone wanted to watch TV, of the 3 rooms we had, one had one English channel. There was wifi in the bar and by the pools. Average but not somewhere we would return to.
