The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The food was good on the whole, with plenty of variety. The pool area was lovely and it was just a short walk down to the beach bar and the sea. The staff were very friendly and helpful. In our opinion, the guys that worked in the bar on the late shift, were excellent. They certainly went the extra mile and always had a smile and pleasant word with all the customers, if they weren't too busy. The shop on site was open from early till late and stocked everything you could need, from coffee to souvenirs, cigarettes to clothing. Nice hotel, great staff and all the amenities. If there was a downside, it was that the animations team seemed to be more interested in the Italian convention (200+ people) than anyone else.

“A lovely stay in Kolymbia”

Location wise, this is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. My husband and I spent hours looking out at the perfect blue skies and the vast sea. Our room also had a perfect view over the well maintained gardens and onwards to a full sea view. The location within Kolymbia was ideal for us too as the hotel is far enough away from the usual bars and gift shops to offer a lovely quiet location whilst still being close enough to take a 15 minute walk to get to them if you wanted something a bit livelier. Rooms are spacious and clean. Maid service every day, refreshing towels and bed linen regularly. At times the food was tepid but on the whole, whilst the selection wasn't great, what we had was very tasty. Overall, the staff were very helpful, especially at reception and in the main bar. The exception being the beach bar where you would be lucky to get a smile. Unfortunately, staff at the beach bar were not that keen on wiping tables either as on several days we were looking at tables smeared with tomato ketchup. Only one more negative - the sun beds around the pool. Management, what are you thinking of? A lot of them were torn - all of them are old and just about the most uncomfortable sun beds I have ever come across. I'm done with the complaints and having said the above, we enjoyed our stay very much owing to the beauty of the view and the location.

Hotel with some very good features: good entertainments, nice food, big rooms, good housekeeping and bar staff, fantastic pizzas, great views from the lawn across the bay. But some bad : food very repetitive, reception staff surly, had to pay to use the safe (15€ per week), safe high up above wardrobe so very difficult to access and clear as I am only 5’2”.,Pool had underwater walls and shelves that were unmarked and dangerous. Beach was sharply shelving and hotel charged an extra 15€ a day to use 2 loungers and a parasol. Entertainments only occurred every other day.
