A great 4-star hotel that is good value for money in a stunning location. Their is a bus stop directly outside the hotel providing services to Rhodes Town. Location:- The hotel is located about 20 minutes outside of Faliraki. It is situated up the hill, above Faliraki, offering stunning views, especially from the restuarant. The village of Kalithies is about a 10 minute walk the other way. Staff:- All staff are very friendly and helpful. Good service was always provided. Rooms:- Our room was very spacious and included an kitchen area and lounge area. A safety deposit box are in the rooms for hire. The terrace area was of a good size, but being on the ground floor offered little privacy. The bathroom is in need of an update. Tiny compared to the size of the room and very outdated. The shower area is far too small and results in the whole bathroom floor getting wet. The bathroom is also poorly laid out. Squeezing the showing in next to the toilet is never a good move. Facilities:- Four pools are provided which include a water park and an adults only area. The water park closes too early in the day compared to the other pools. Finding a sunbed was never a problem. All-inclusive drinks and snacks are provided at all poll areas (drinks only in the water park). Weekly pool parties are put on in the adults-only Marrakesh pool area. A gym and spa are also located inside the complex. Dinning:- Food was always of a good quality in this hotel. The breakfast offered masses of choice with different items added daily. Dinner, while very good, over relied on themes and if you didn't like the theme, alternatives were few provided. The food from the pool bar made for good snacks. As part of the all-inclusive offering, you are provided with one meal in the Marrakesh restaurant. Environmentally friendly:- The provision of recycling bins throughout the complex was a very good touch. For the all-inclusive drinks, the hotel relies, far too much, on throw away plastic glasses. Reusable plastic glasses are also avalaible, but far more need to be ordered.

3-star plus is a fair rating from Jet2. I read reviews about the thin walls but didn’t think anything of it, but they really are. I go on holiday and expect to get a decent night’s sleep. 3-star plus is a fair rating from Jet2. I read reviews about the thin walls but didn’t think anything of it, but they really are. I go on holiday and expect to get a decent night’s sleep. Sadly this was not the case, we had extremely noisy neighbours who kept us up until all hours on several nights. Then we could hear all our other neighbours moving chairs, opening drawers and moving suitcases all night - any noise, it could be heard through the very thin walls and ceilings. The food was delicious but not a great variety for a vegan diet. No non-dairy milks available at breakfast (which is also poor if anyone is lactose intolerant) and most foods were unnecessarily cooked in butter. No vegan options at the snack bars either. Managed to make up my plate with pasta, chips and salad/veg most days. Was also disappointing that a Greek island only had olives available on the last day. My non-vegan partner said the variety of other food options was also average. With lack of sleep and poor food options, I struggled to relax for the first few days of our holiday. The evening entertainment was poor at this time of year, mostly YouTube quizzes and audience members ‘becoming’ the entertainment. We preferred a few quiet drinks in the main bar, playing card games. The room we had was extremely small (our balcony was half the size of others - the chairs were pressed tight to the walls) but functional. Our view was meant to be a garden view, but most of our view was the roof of the gym below us. One day the hot tubs from the premium-area overflowed and gushed down onto our balcony and staff had to enter our room to sort the issue. A strange concept that the sink was not in the bathroom, but outside the bathroom instead. Having said that, the Marrakesh adults-only area was the saving grace for this hotel, this area was worth 5 stars on its own. It really was a paradise. The vegan options at this restaurant were far better, they catered for starter, main, sharer and dessert. We had one meal here in with our all-inclusive package and it was the best meal all week. The pool area was fantastic and a true oasis. The bar was sufficient (beer, wine, soft drinks, water all available on all inclusive) and this area alone is what might entice us to return to this hotel. The views from the restaurants were certainly ones worth waking up for. The shuttle bus to the beach was handy (although it was also walkable in about 15 mins with a slight incline). And the staff were all friendly and helpful. The location was ideal for what we wanted - a quiet getaway, close enough to the beach for a day out, close to the main WaterPark in Faliraki and not too far from Old Town Rhodes if you’re happy to get a bus or taxi. Would we return to this hotel? Possibly, if the price was right, if just for the Marrakesh adults-only area. If we returned, I think we would spend the majority of our holiday in this area, as we both work with children and appreciated a space to be with just adults. But I would hope for (or even request) a quieter room. I would also like to see more variety for vegan and dairy-free guests. More than 3 stars, but not quite 4 in our opinion. A solid 3.5 stars for us.

“Private pool rooms waste of money!!”

Please don't waste your money on the private pool rooms near main pool as they do not get any sun on the patio area and the pool probably gets an hour in the morning, so you spend your time around the main pool, the other swim up room not next to main pool do get a bit more. We were in room 503.
