We stayed at the Esperos Village Blue and Spa for five days and I can honestly say that this was the best hospitality we have ever experienced. The location is picturesque with stunning views of the sea. Although on a hilly slope, which may not suit everyone, you have the option to walk or, if you prefer, there is a courtesy shuttle bus that runs every 20 minutes. The rooms are large, comfortable and clean, the food is delicious and varied with a themed buffet each night (we particularly enjoyed Italian and Spanish), the location is great if you want to see the island (we visited Lindos, Rhodes old town and a local beach) and the infinity pool was a perfect way to unwind and cool off. Every evening offered entertainment on the outside terrace with Leida (a classical and electronic violinist) being our highlight. Above all, every single member of staff went the extra mile to ensure that our stay was special from check in to check out. Towards end of season wine list reduced to just a few options but this did not spoil our holiday experience. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others. You WON’T be disappointed.

“Fantastic view”

Fantastic view and facilities. Every single member of staff have been friendly, approachable and no requests have been too much. The food is lovely all fresh and on our first night we were provided with a sandwich platter as we arrived after dinner service.

We stayed here for our recent honeymoon. Absolutely beautiful location, all you would want for quiet chilled peaceful break. Food was exceptional with so much choice and staff were attentive and friendly. Shop on site reasonably priced. It is built into the hills so lots of walking although they have a bus that goes from top to bottom all day long if preferred. Mild musical entertainment provided every evening. As long as peace quiet a s relaxation is what you want with great breakfast and evening meals then you won’t be disappointed. Beyond the hotel the area isn’t great for choice but everything you need is within the village. Wish the pools attached to room were heated as they were too cold to enjoy due to being late October.

The resort is beautiful and while on a hill, we luckily visited at the end of the season so it was quiet and we were able to use the buses up and down the hills freely. The resort is beautiful and while on a hill, we luckily visited at the end of the season so it was quiet and we were able to use the buses up and down the hills freely. For the same reason, the pool area was never busy and we got some beds whatever time we went down. I think the main thing for us was expecting luxury and it falling short on multiple occasions. Firstly, was the approach and attitude to dinner attire, with one of the employees pulling my boyfriend to the side and stating no shorts were to be worn at dinner, despite this not being communicated ahead of our arrival. He was made to feel judged and from then we felt uncomfortable around the staff. As a couple of foodies were really looking forward to the half board we’d booked, but unfortunately the catering was such a let down and nowhere near 5*. Dinner was bland, the food really oily and disappointing. We desperately wanted to leave the resort for dinner each night but due to it being out of season, not much was open. Breakfast was better and the best meals we had were the gyros on the pool menu. In the room, they had stated that toiletries were covered, but what they provided for shower gel (and doubled as shampoo which is already so suspicious) was nothing more than what you’d find at a public toilet for hand wash. Again, not 5* and certainly not leaving them in a position to be so forthright with their attitude on dress code.
