“5 Star Experience from Start to Finish”

This hotel was amazing from the moment we got picked up from the airport by hotel staff in a van that could accomodate all 6 of us until the moment we left in the same van and got dropped off to board our ferry to the next Greek Island. All three pools were beautiful and it was a great atmosphere... more

The manager and owner, Panaglotis is superb, leading from the front and always available. As per my other hotel stays, I will give quite a lot of detail below to help others understand more about the hotel. There’s a strong emphasis on family and great service here - we a huge fans and loved our 10 days here - the staff, facilities, rooms and location, all balanced with a fair price and value. General areas The hotel lobby, breakfast/restaurant area and hotel room area called “main” is the heart of the operation; the other 2 “Daylight and sunset areas” are about 30 metres along the path - sunset is a slightly longer walk (though they have buggy’s. It’s 2 mins & there are 4 staff that can run you around if needed. Each of the 3 areas has its own pool and bar; each has its own identity. The lobby/reception and breakfast area are well decorated; the food at breakfast is fantastic something for everyone. Coffee, juice and cooked food if you want it. Lots of continental choices. The reception in the lobby area can help with all requests and help with buses, trips and more. The drivers at the hotel also give complementary rides into Mykonos - which is a 10 minute walk downhill; after an evening out a taxi home is probably best it’s about €12-15. The pools were all good and never an issue getting sun beds or help. Umbrellas too. The sunset pool has the best, stunning, views (my photos) and obviously the sunset BUT is the windiest and furthest from the lobby/cars etc. The daylight area, in my view, has the better pool bar and vibe. The main area is lovely, more compact but more seating - having the main hotel close is a bonus. Each person gets a beach/pool towel which is great. Staff The most important thing is how you are treated on holiday / vacation and the hotels treats everyone amazingly. Kind, helpful and generous with their help. Panaglotis runs things at the core and is a master at dealing with all types of customer - nothing is too much trouble. The drivers (2 main and 2 others) do airport runs and mostly into town, plus some golf cart trips for those that don’t want to walk the 2 mins to breakfast. The staff at breakfast, overseen by Panaglotis‘s lovely wife, are excellent too. Zero complaints and I can be a bit fussy! The cleaning team keep things in great shape and are very friendly. The guy at the pool area on the bar and delivering drinks/food and more was efficient and always around. He did tell me “no snacks (crisps/chips) or water of my own around the pool”. It’s the only thing I would suggest is loosened a bit by Panaglotis. I understand it’s good for the hotel to use their food and drinks and I guess - where do you draw the line on what hotels can and can’t bring. Not easy to figure out. I continued to take my own water, which wasn’t a problem at all, but was respectful of the rules on food and other drinks. Room The rooms is each area and even with the area of choice have the same feeling - just different locations and layouts. Lovely decorated and fresh. Some for 2, 3 and families. Some rooms around the pool, others a little quieter. My pics show best the sunset area and rooms. The rooms each have an outside seating area (or balcony - the daylight and main sections have more rooms with balconies - sunset is more low level (table and chairs); nice comfy beds and bathrooms. Robes, slippers and lovely bathroom products is a nice touch. Safe and just about enough storage for clothes etc. Kettle for tea/coffee; the small fridge is great to store soft drinks and beer in. Showers were great. Aircon a god send in the summer!!! It was good and cold as you want. I loved sitting out on the patio area as the sun came up. Pools: as I have said each are has one clean, plenty of beds and bars. Staff helpful and must put umbrellas up. Clean and well kept, quiet music playing all day. You can use any pool you want. Facilities and getting around; some guests like to walk to and from the lobby, others get a golf buggy. They cater for both and all the hotel’s facilities were good. Zero issues - seating areas etc all very good. Local area: the local area is good - you are close enough to walk to Mykonos (if somewhat active) but far enough to escape the bustle. There is a bakery, small supermarket, coffee shop, fruit shop and an ok Greek bbq restaurant all within 40-50 metres of the hotel. You can get snacks and drinks. There are 2 larger supermarkets about 200-300 metres away. The hotel has a nice restaurant too. I’ve added a few, minor, things to note: For rooms of 3, I think having 3 outside chairs and mugs/glasses etc would be easier than having to ask the bar staff for glasses. There were always enough towels and other things so not a big thing. The drink cost at the pool were €18-20 for cocktails etc and for Mykonos not too bad and same as in town. I would probably encourage guests more with a cocktail hour (€14 between 5-6 of something like that). Whilst the beds were great/comfy and the sheets nice, the pillows probably need an upgrade - I’m really saying it for those that travel or love their pillows!!! Again not a big thing. As with all parts of the island, as it’s small, planes come over nearby but it’s a few seconds every now and again. None of these things are even register as an issue for us. We will definitely come back and I will stay in touch with Panaglotis. Booking directly is the cheapest way
