“Our Greek vacation”

We traveled to Greece for a wedding and stayed here when we were in Paros. It was great. The staff were very helpful and the rooms are wonderful. The pool was amazing and everyone loved the spa. If we are ever back in Paros we will definitely stay here again.

The resort is in a quiet part of the island near the port/Parikia. Our room was comfortable and the outdoor balcony had a stellar view of the water. The resort is in a quiet part of the island near the port/Parikia. Our room was comfortable and the outdoor balcony had a stellar view of the water. It was nice to sit there and wstch the ferry boats coming and going. Buffet breakfast was tasty with something for every taste/diet. The staff was very helpful and gave us good suggestions of sights to see via car each day. The resort has a nice pool area, a good thing because it is not on the beach. You have to walk 5-8 minutes across the road and down an unfinished/uneven path to get there-it’s sandy but not very wide/deep. Because this location is on a bay there are no waves-good for kids or hestitant swimmers. We didn’t use the tennis court, paddle tennis or mini golf areas but many other guests enjoyed them. What’s not so great: the wifi is weak and cycles up and down, and the TV channels cut out every few minutes. The shower has no door or curtain so water sprays out onto the floor, the shower ran hot and then suddenly cold-the handheld feature was more reliable about delivering hot water. Stairs-lots of them and there are no hand rails. Dinner-there are many better choices in Parikia-drive into town or hop a ride in the free hotel shuttle. The hotel recommended a restaurant nearby that requires a car or a 20 minute walk with a flashlight down pitch black steep and curvy roads. Not the hotel’s fault but be aware there is a massive construction project next door-a new resort

Well, I write reviews to help other travelers make informed choices (see others in Paros eg Parocks Spa, Safran etc) Did we have a good time? Yes Is the property well located? Yes Is this a five star property? No (just about 4* in our opinion) When we arrived it wasnt clear if we would have to bring our own luggage to the room (we had a suite on floor 2) but after asking one of the staff directed us to a different parking and helped me with two bags whilst I took the third to outside the room - not a 5* welcome In the room the private pool was not clean or inviting for a swim, the bed was squeaky, the ironing board and iron were not working. Did Mr George K (manager) correct promptly the next day? Yes - but should he have had to in a 5* property? I leave to you to decide The bed sheets and towels are not of such high standards nor is there a turndown service - with amenities not replaced unless asked for. Laundry is outsourced and paid by cash at reception, received back un-ironed. The spa does not provide amenities in the spa (or hair dryer) . We only received one bottle of water on the first day (of 5) not replaced since - little touches which annoy on a holiday They try hard but definitely do not meet proposed standards
