This was our second visit to the Dimitra Beach Hotel and again it was amazing. It’s such a great place for peace and quiet and to recharge. The beach front bungalows are so clean and well kept, the housekeepers are so friendly and very respectful and even made an effort at decorating our room for my birthday. The hotel even sent a card a bottle of wine and placed a surprise birthday cake in our fridge. The food quality is awesome and the choice of dishes is huge. There is definitely something for everyone. The restaurant staff are so welcoming and friendly especially Anastasis he was always smiling and happy to serve us every morning with coffee and was always around to clear our empty dishes away after every course. The on-site Italian and Greek restaurants are worth the visit too. All the staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. It’s great that there is one row of sun beds along the beach so you never feel over crowded and there is a lifeguard on duty around the pools and seafront. We have already booked for 2025 and looking forward to going back for our 3 visit. Thank you to all the staff at the Dimitra Hotel

“Good hotel”

The Dimitra Beach Hotel is worth visiting. The view from every place in the hotel was amazing, the sunbeds were very comfortable, the water in swimming pools and sea was clean, the food was good and the staff was polite (except the main bar where we felt like intruders). The Dimitra Beach Hotel is worth visiting. The view from every place in the hotel was amazing, the sunbeds were very comfortable, the water in swimming pools and sea was clean, the food was good and the staff was polite (except the main bar where we felt like intruders). Special thanks to Anastasis and Thomas for being very professional and positive - you did more than we expected. Unfortunately there were also cons in the hotel - our room was near the road and to be honest for us it was too noisy, there were keys to the room instead of cards and there was a lot of stairs. I’m not sure if we want to return to this hotel, but we don’t regret that we spent our holiday here.

This is a lovely hotel and the food and all inclusive drinks were great. Table service was great for drinks so no queuing at the bar. We had help to our room with bags and they upgraded our room. We had a fabulous sea view and the room and balcony were very spacious. The bathroom was nice with quality products. Good to be able to get Netflix on the tv too. Mini fridge was topped up every day. Sun beds are very comfortable and plenty for everyone. There is a bus right outside the hotel to get into Kos town for €2 and a taxi is €17. The resort was nice and quiet at night. Entertainment was good. The staff at restaurant were so good and the reception staff. The pool bar staff were great. Cleaning staff very friendly and the place was spotless. I’d definitely recommend this hotel. Improvements I would say the bed was a little hard for me but you can’t please everyone on that. The main man behind the bar in the evening could be a little dismissive of some customers preferring to serve the young girls which I thought was quite unprofessional and could be quite annoying. All in all a great holiday. Thank you

“Beautiful hotel but poor bar and restaurant service, repetitive food and always freezing, unheated pools. Not a 5 Star”

We’ve stayed at this hotel twice this summer but we will be giving other hotels a try next time The hotel is in a lovely location and has a great feel to it with the all white decor and plenty of different areas to relax in. The rooms are nice and there is a variety of options, we had both a suite and a beachfront bungalow. However the hotel is severely lacking in service within the restaurants and bar areas. You can almost finish your breakfast before there is any sign of any coffee or in our case, the restaurant manager can simply take your order and never return! The same can be said when ordering drinks in the evening. They take an age to take an order and just as long to deliver it. On the whole, staff are totally disinterested and there is no interest from them at all. Both restaurants are overseen by a Maitra de but they are totally uninterested and don’t manage the environment at all. Food, whilst generally good, is very repetitive and sometimes very odd. Every day this week cooked carrots, chips and other strange things have been on offer for breakfast but fresh orange juice and bacon has been scarce. The pools are also totally unheated which both in July when we first came and now in October, rendered them almost unusable as they were breathtakingly cold. Such a shame when some simple solar heating would make all the difference. You also need to take extreme care round the poolside as so many people slip on the super dangerous tiles which are new and look lovely but are lethal. We saw one lady break her arm and another severely hurt his hip after taking a tumble. It’s a daily occurrence, and even took a smaller tumble myself on my knee. In short, a visually beautiful hotel but service, repetitive food options and freezing pools make this a 3 star hotel absolutely not a 5 star
