“Lovely stay”

Hotel itself is a bit dated but our room was lovely & spacious & had a partial sea view & everything looked & worked well & room was cleaned very well every day. Great size balcony. Staff really friendly & helpful, especially 2 of the men in the restaurant (older man & tall man) they were always so happy & always spoke to our 1 year old every time they passed him. We noticed a few of them doing multiple roles around the hotel they work so hard. Food was nice enough and a good enough choice for a 2 week stay, it wasn’t amazing but it’s not a high end hotel so we didn’t expect that. We stayed on a half board basis and didn’t realise the evening meals started from 7pm which we thought was a bit late for young children but we adapted. We had a lovely stay. The only thing we were disappointed with is upon check out (we had also paid extra to leave at 6pm instead of normal time 10am) we asked if we were ok to have our evening meal still but they said we couldn’t do that after checkout which we thought was unfair as we also didn’t get an evening meal upon checkin as we arrived late (they did leave a few sandwiches, fruit and cake slices in the room but it was quite stale in the warm room with no air con on and we didn’t think was a fair substitute for an evening meal especially when you don’t get a choice) Had we have known we would have planned to go out but we didn’t have much time with a 1 year old between checking out and having to be on the bus so take this into account as you will also need to keep some money aside for this.
