We stayed at this hotel September/October 24. It is a big hotel and can be difficult to locate your room when you first arrive. Thank goodness for the staff and the buggies to drive you with your luggage. However we were left at the entrance to our block at 1am in the morning to find our room and carry our cases up 2 flights of stairs. We are of the older generation and found this a challenge. We did request assistance on leaving which was excellent. The rooms are small but adequate although not enough storage as only a wardrobe and no drawers and shelves. They were cleaned every day. The bed was comfortable and the walk in shower was very good. The food was acceptable and there was a good choice. The Mythos, Greek, restaurant was our favourite of the a la carte restaurants. The staff were very friendly and provided great service. They served your drinks at meal times and even your coffee at breakfast. The Ilios bar was a comfortable bar to have pre lunch and evening meal drinks at and afternoon drinks before a well needed sleep before the evening. Konstantina in the Ilios bar was amazing. So friendly and after our first day knew what drinks we had. She is a fantastic asset to the hotel. We watched a few of the shows in the evenings. They were enjoyable and the entertainers worked hard to put on the shows. The transport system wasn’t the best to be able to visit other resorts. There used to be a bus to get to Kos Town but not very frequent. We booked a taxi at reception and although the first time it was a long wait, it did improve.

Good points: - Comfortable sun loungers - no issues getting beds - pool area - 9 euro taxi ride from Kos, takes about 5 minutes - Cleaners are friendly - Staff in the Chinese are super polite - Crepe station Bad points: - food is average at best in the buffet. - Chinese is awful - Italian awful - pools are freezing - any rooms near the main building are really loud until the early hours - reception staff don’t want to know if there are any issues and very unhelpful - Rooms are small - all cocktails are made with syrups and are horrible - Beer is alright but most of the time come in small plastic cups - you have to pay for sun loungers on the beach Overall scored a 3 at a push. I wouldn’t return. No idea how this can be marketed as a 5 star. We paid around 2k for two people. I think half that would be reasonable.

The hotel looks the part but that's where it ends unfortunately, rooms very cramped. Food is mediocre at best, tried Italian restaurant, what's on the menu online is not available, apparently guest relations are aware and have been for over a year but failed to change it. We opted for different choice and both of us took one bite and left, it was awful, lukewarm overcooked slop. (Canneloni and pesto pasta). Reception staff on check in abrupt and rude. Cocktails definately not 5 star. Food at best 3 star. Staff in bars mostly nice. Pools unacceptable cold. (If its out of peak season, Heat them or at least one). Beach awful, too many stones and seaweed, extremely difficult to navigate far enough to swim,and you have to pay for sunbed and parasol. (Never had to pay for beds in any 4 star or 5 star resort previously). Definately would return to KOS but not this hotel. Tui rate it a 4 star, the hotel calls itself a 5 star, therefore stung for 10 euros a night visitor tax...... Disappointed
