We found the hotel to be absolutely outstanding including the hospitality of all the staff namely Irene at the reception. Simoss the restaurant manager , Natsha the bar manageress, Arthur and Dora bar staff The hotel /views was surprisingly stunning ,including our room (1416) with gorgeous view . “A Lovely Relaxing Holiday”

We greatly enjoyed our 10 day late season holiday at the Summer Palace Hotel. Our superior sea view room was excellent , modern, very well equipped with loads of storage space and great view. The views from this hotel are probably the best of the four Mitsis Hotels sharing this beach and the infinity pools were certainly a very positive feature of this Hotel and a highlight for us. Unsurprisingly sunbeds here were at a premium by the infinity pools and it was good to see the Hotel staff enforcing the 40 minute rule (by removing towels from un-occupied beds) which discouraged hogging of these sunbeds. The entertainment was a little mixed but overall of a reasonable quality. We particularly enjoyed the Bar b que and Med restaurants , less keen on the Dusk (too much raw fish). The food quality and choice in the main restaurant was fine but it would have been nice if they has served whole olives with the excellent Greek Salad. Also , how about including a Greek Salad side at a couple of the a la carte restaurants and maybe more Greek orientated menu at the Med? We were slightly disappointed by the quality of the sunbeds on the beach compared to those enjoyed by the sister hotels, the same applied to the beach bar when compared to that of the Norida. (I have no doubt that this may be addressed in future refurbishment plans.) The quality of bar drinks was good but an option for nibbles such as crisps and olives would have been nice. (only peanuts were available on request) Nearby Kardamena was worth a visit we both walked and cycled there (cheap bike hire available just outside hotel) . Staff were good and we would definitively recommend this Hotel.

We really liked the hospitality and the way the employees made us feel. Truly relaxing, beautiful views, great weather and nice food.. George was a great host! Thank you for a lovely holiday Mitsis style! We definitely will return next year.

Had a lovely week relaxing in this beautiful spot. Staff and service are both consistently excellent - special mention to Irene on the reception and Irene on guest services. The room cleaner was polite and lovely; never intrusive. The hotel architecture is stunning and the vibe slick. Views are incredible. We were treated to an upgrade with plunge pool overlooking the sea. Fabulous - although the pool was very cold and took some getting into! Having our own loungers came in handy as there aren’t quite enough by the pools so that was an early start for some guests to grab one. The only thing that is not 5 star here is the food. I can only think from other reviews that we have been spoilt with amazing buffets at previous hotels. But the inclusive drinks menu is endless and the cocktails good - special shout out to the med bar and their espresso martini! The a la carte restaurants are a must so book via the app before you arrive. We hired a car for a day - great way to see the island and try authentic Greek food. All in all a beautiful place; almost 5 star!
