“Perfect”

The animation was amazing! The staff was very nice and the room was very clean. Lucas was one of the best animators in this hotel. The pool was very nice and warm. I really enjoyed my time here and I would love to come back here sometime. It is a good place to stay with family

We stayed Mitsis Norida Kos 20th-25th Sept for my daughters 21st birthday. This was our first time at a Mitsis & in Kos. We had such a fantastic time! From 100's of pics, my first post is only of Norida resort. We had a twin sea view, but they added a mattress toppers to make it a double bed. (At our request). Room 146. Everything was perfect 👌 The room, bed so comfortable, lovely shower. We had an awesome sea view. The mini bar was restocked daily. The staff throughout the whole resort are exceptional 🫶🏻🥰 The food & drinks are delicious 😋 Especially in the 3 A la carté restaurants. Breakfast at the grill we had twice & is so much calmer & relaxed than the main restaurant. Pizza on the beach was delicious & we managed to have gyros twice from next door at Blue Domes on the beach. Manolis was my fav barman in the bar by the creperie. Whilst we were there, my daughter received her results for her 3yr Degree in Midwifery (delivering babies).. I'm proud to say, she got top marks & got first honours! 🎉🫶🏻 The crepes are huge & so filling. We never managed to visit the Tea room where cakes & sweet treats are served daily. I ordered the basic birthday package for my daughters 21st birthday on the night we ate in Pan Asian. She was presented with a lovely rich chocolate cake (majority we gave away) And we had 2 glasses of champagne 🍾 But the next day, we had a knock on the door & Surprised with a plate of horderves & a bottle of Prosecco which was a lovely touch. The buffet restaurant has so much choice, even the fussiest eaters will not go hungry. The sea was warm & crystal clear with pretty fish. I took beach shoes as there are wooden walk ways but the sand is like fine shingle. I would highly recommend this hotel. It was just perfect & we will definitely be back. Concierge are most helpful as is everyone at this resort. Thank you Mitsis Norida 🫶🏻🙏🤗😘 xxx PS I forgot to add. Our flight wasn't until 10.15pm, so we booked the shower room for 6pm. It's free. Just about to leave this beautiful hotel honest review given. Hotel absolutely immaculate cleaners work so hard to keep the place spotless. Food was always lovely lots of choice, yes a tad repetitive at times but if you choose something different everyday you will have better experience. My boys loved the creperie they have definatly had there moneys worth in pancakes. I do understand why some people say the staff come across as rude. We did find this a tad especially the bar staff in the cocktail bar and the food servers in the restaurant but it didn't effect us at all we just smiled and carried on enjoying our break. Lots and lots of choices regarding places to drink and drinks to choose from one of the best selection we have come across.The grounds to this hotel are beautiful and well maintained, clean and lots and lots of sun beds all around the multiple pools and along the beach. We never struggled ever to get 4 at anytime of the day. The only downside to the holiday was the mattress are rock hard and the wind really whips up of a night time. We had a view of the front over looking the mountains and the shutters rattel terribly all night in the wind causing a very poor week of sleep. Also the pools are ice ice cold which is such a shame as they look so inviting and are beautiful but we seen a grand total of about 6 people in them all week as they literally take your breath away which is such a waste and really disappointing as my boys love the pool but couldn't tolerate the icey waters. All in all I would 100% recommend this hotel its been a very lovely stay if your seeking a quieter break. If you want entertaining all day and night this isn't the hotel for you.

Mixed Mitsis Norida has the potential to be so much more than it is. The grounds are beautiful and the hotel definitely has the infrastructure to be a top hotel. We arrived early afternoon and check in wasn’t for another 30 mins, no problem we went and got ourselves a drink at the bar while we waited. The actual checkin itself took longer than I’m used to and straight away you can see the receptionists are very busy, too busy I would say. No welcome drink which we would expect from a five star ‘ultra all inclusive’. We stayed in a family bungalow and this was very nice. 2 bathrooms which my 13 year old daughter was very happy about. It’s split between 2 floors so just be aware if you have a toddler who could fall down the stairs then you will have to be creative with a stairs gate/barrier as the baby gate they provided (after we asked) doesn’t actually fit due to the style of staircase. Anyway all very nice and if stairs aren’t an issue then I think anyone would be impressed with the space and the room was cleaned daily to a good standard. Bar areas were nice, the drinks options were good, no branded spirits but nice enough and some nice cocktails on offer. The fizz was also nice (so my wife tells me) and the beer was also good. The buffet restaurant area was ok, the food choice standard you would expect, we’ve had better at other hotels and wouldn’t describe it quite 5 star but it was easy to find something to eat. It could be very hot (We were here in August) as the air conditioning didn’t seem to be working. Also no air conditioning in the lobby so there was nowhere to seek refuge apart from back at the room. We visited the 3 restaurants on 3 evenings of our stay and the food was good. Service again slow and on the first occasion no one came to collect our plates after our main course and were no one asked if you would like dessert so we ended up leaving without as we’d waited for an hour and no one had come near to our table. On the second night we managed to order the desserts but they forgot and so we ended up leaving without (again). Just another example of the lack of attentiveness, not because staff didn’t want to but more because they just so busy. Entertainment was ok. Kids disco was good for the little ones although you have to walk up a small hill to get there and the drinks options were limited (no fizz) so we had to walk down to the main bar each time we got a round in. The entertainment in the main bar was pretty good and we had a dance on a couple of the nights. I would say a big let down for us was the lack of attentive service and also the amount of queuing we had to do all holiday. The hotel is very obviously short staffed in all areas. Queue at any of the bars but especially the pool and beach bars - they need more people serving on these bars, queue at the buffet but I suppose that’s understandable. No cutlery at breakfast and plates never taken away. Staff would forget requests as they seemed to have so much already on their plates. The beach was nice although full of cups and quite a bit of litter. You would think for a beach that size they’d have a full time person (or even team) going up and down and taking cups and picking up litter (this is what I’ve seen in other hotels). Instead the staff from the beach bar came along the beach a few times a day to collect cups (which created longer queues at the bar!). I cleaned 30+ cups from next to our sun beds one morning and left them on the boardwalk thinking someone would be round soon to collect them and 3 hours later we got a glass crate from the bar and returned them ourselves. Quite ridiculous really considering it’s an ‘ultra’ 5* all inclusive hotel. A quick remedy to some of the issues could be solved if they had self serve stations for some drinks such as water, tea, coffee, soft drinks and beer. If you want even a water you have to ask and then wait. Why can’t they have water stations where people can help themselves? Then staff could concentrate on adding quality instead of running around like headless chickens and clearly hating their lives because they have too much placed upon them. There is no chance with sunbeds round the main pool unless you get up at half 6 which I did do on 2 occasions but that wasn’t very conducive to having a few beers in the evening so we stuck to the beach for the rest of the days where sunbeds were much easier to secure. All in all not the worst hotel we’ve stayed in but nowhere near 5 star standard and definitely not ‘ultra’. We’re a fan of Mitsis hotels and have stayed in several but the Norida did not meet our expectations. Disappointing as we were there for a special occasion and paid a lot of money for our holiday. For the money we expected much better hence giving this hotel 3 stars instead of 4.
