Of course this review is very subjective and says maybe more about the guests then the hotel itself, but here is my honest review about my 11 nights at the Mitsis Norida hotel, the end of October. The hotel, the rooms The resort and the rooms do not necessarily exude luxury, because the furniture and decor are not necessarily timeless. For us personally this was no problem at all. Everything was well maintained and above all very clean. On the other hand, there were many small steps that I was a bit afraid of tripping over. Luckily this didn't happen. First aid / doctor If you need a patch or medical advice, this is easily available. Animation team My mother and I really enjoyed the stretching and yoga sessions from Ella. She in particular put guests at ease and brought such nice vibes. We really adored her <3 She also gave us good tips to discover the island. Reception / concierge Always easily accessible for questions. Most were so friendly and warm with always a genuine smile on their face. Rides to and from reception and rooms If your hotel room was not in the main building, you could be dropped off and picked up at any time. On the other hand, it was also nice to take a mandatory walk every now and then haha. Restaurants Main The food varied greatly. Personally, I didn't like the bread very much, but the soups were delicious. Raw food such as lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, etc. did not taste good. Very strange, but the lettuce was extremely bitter. Too bad, because I normally really like this. I really enjoyed pizza, pasta and fries (which I normally don't eat). The kiwi jam on pancakes was to die for. A La Carte We made reservations for the fish restaurant and Asian restaurant in the week before departure via the app. The fish restaurant was very good, both dishes and service. The Asian restaurant was unfortunately a lot less, but maybe just a bad evening: the rice was very mushy and several courses came at the same time. So a bit messy. The vibe in all the a la carte restaurants (there are three and its under the same roof) is much calmer, the acoustics so much better and of course the view (looking over the sea) is amazing. I recommend that you definitely make a reservation here. Lunch to take away It was possible to get packed lunches when you went on a day trip. It contained a piece of fruit, a drink, a muesli bar, a cake and a sandwich. Please ask a day in advance. Cleaning There was frequent cleaning and mopping, in the hotel itself but also in the rooms every morning. This was really necessary for us, because unfortunately we had a family of ants in the bathroom that returned every day. Bar and outdoor seating area We mainly visited the pool bar. The cocktails here were often quite sweet, but this could also be just us. When we asked this, they made them less sweet for us. We found the staff generally very friendly. Enadri in particular really made an effort to chat with guests and make them feel comfortable, at the same time he worked hard serving everybody and keeping everything clean and tidy. We appreciated him very much. In general the vibe in this hotel was very pleasant and we lacked nothing. Maybe it's not the fanciest place to stay, but we had such a comfortable time, especially because of the hospitality from the staff. We were a little bit sad that the season was over and are already looking forward to our next stay. Thank you so much :)
