We have just come back from a lovely, 9 night stay at Lagas Aegean Village and couldn't recommend it more. The hotel is very pretty and the rooms all have sea views, we also had a proper double bed (not 2 pushed together), and found it very comfortable. The pool is large and there were always plenty of sunbeds, even if spending the morning at the beach and going to the pool for the afternoon. The shoreline is rocky so good for snorkelling, but the beach is sandy so ideal for sunbathing. A highlight for us was the restaurant! You are greeted at the entrance and directed to a table. I think they seat you in the same area, so you have the same waiter each day, which we thought was nice. The waiter goes around serving tea and coffee in the morning and takes your drinks order on an evening. The food was honestly excellent! Lots of fresh fruits, salads, bread baked on site, fish, meats, pasta, cooked vegetables, moussaka, spanakopita, baklava! It's very well run, so I never saw plates stacking up on tables or trays of food on the self-serve counters empty. It was also nice to not see people wasting food as is typical on summer package holidays. The whole dining experience just felt a bit more elegant and special :) Also to add, we found the staff across the whole of the hotel friendly. We spoke to a few other visitors while here and all had visited multiple times before. We have never been to the same hotel twice, but would come again. All in all, a very nice, quiet hotel with lovely food and a nice quiet section of beach, perfect for a relaxing break :)

This hotel is lovely! The hotel is always clean and the chambermaids changed the bedding and towels everyday in our room and always said hello which was lovely. We were in the second row of rooms, facing the sea. However, even though we was sea view, we could not see the sea unfortunately. You would have to be in the higher rooms to be able to have a proper sea view. They have a 24 HR complimentary shuttle bus which will take you to your room / to the hotel which is great for the people who are staying high up as it is a trek, especially in the heat! There are a few facilities at the hotel, but a lot of them you have to pay for. For example, the gym is €5 per person a day, as well as the indoor pool, which we didn't realise until we showed up. You have to also pay for a sun lounger at the beach even though it is classed as a "private beach". The food at this restaurant is good, having a mixture of traditional greek and continental. We really enjoyed the breakfast here. If you were wanting to eat out, there is an easy route to Kardamena town which is approx 20 min walk from the hotel. There is a wide variety of shops, restaurants and bars. The nightlife is good here if you're looking for that. I would recommend the bar 'Why Not'. The thing that really made our stay amazing at this hotel though was the animation team. The activities and events they provided throughout the day was so much fun and they made us feel so welcome, always checking in on us and making time to have conversations with us. Sam, Enjey and Tash were lovely to us from our first day and it was sad to say good bye on our last day. They're an amazing team and made our stay. We would've been bored if they weren't there. Thank you! Overall, we had a great time staying at this hotel and would definitely come back to Kos.

“Staff issue”

Lovely hotel good food nice rooms Very hilly so avoid if no good on your legs My only issue is with hotel restaurant manager he was the only one In a suite so I assume he is Horrible stuck up person We didn’t know that you couldn’t take a small bottle water in the restaurant with us As they don’t offer you any drinks at the dinner restaurant He walked over and said no no and took our water didn’t even explain or say can you take it outside Nothing then he Walked away If it was my last day I would have flipped on him but decided to say nothing As we are still here for another 4 days Just a horrible little man Also we arrived very late 2am as delayed And there was nothing to drink or eat and we asked for a coffee but told no Obviously we would have paid No water or anything in room So just be warned if you arrive late the nearest town is 20 min walk or 8 euros in taxi to kardemena centre
