We have just returned from a wonderful weeks stay at this hotel, we found the hotel to be very clean, the towels and bed sheets were changed regularly, the staff were very helpful and very friendly, the breakfast was typical Greek, basic but was very good quality. The hotel was about 150m from the sea front with lots of beach bars. The local taverna's were very good with excellent food quality and choice. The double rooms are a little small if three adults are sharing a room. When round the pool beware of the 'Barman' with the ice bucket, although it was very refreshing at the time. A special thankyou to the hotel manager who sorted out a room problem when we arrived, made the holiday better. Again thankyou.

“Quiet location away from the main centre.”

I was in a party of 5 ladies (ages 56-65). We had 2 separate rooms, on the 3rd floor, 304 and 306. The location is good, has a nice stroll to the centre, quiet, near the beaches. In our party we had no mobility issues, but if you did then it is quite w walk from the main centre Hotel is very tired and old, it should not take much to update the rooms with small things to bring it up to better standards. Rooms - The rooms were very basic. No toiletries in the room. Hairdryer in the bathroom. Standard small towels, if you are a larger person the towels just won’t be big enough to cover yourself. Only 1 plug socket in the main bedroom, a 2nd outside the bathroom door which was 3ft off the ground, and 3rd which had the TV plugged in. So you may want to take an extension cable. No USB sockets. No full length mirror, only mirrors were the dressing table and the bathroom. I think this should be standard in every hotel in these modern days. Shower was always hot, but the shower head was small so it was a trickle, but did the job. 7 coat hangers in each room , that was between our room of 2 and our friends in the room of 3 also had 7, so you may want to take your own. Comfortable beds. Our friends in the room of 3, there was a sofa bed. After some unsettled nights sleep, we complained as they were 3 adults and so would expect the 3rd bed to be a decent size, which is what we had paid for. They arranged to get a proper single mattress which was put on top of the sofa bed, and was a lot better. For Aircon you have to pay extra. For the safe you have to pay extra. Wi-Fi was very poor in all parts of the hotel. Lovely view of the pool and the hillsides, very quiet. Breakfast - was 7.30-9.30. It was a continental - bread/ toast,jam, tinned peaches, hard boiled eggs, cheese, ham, apples, pears, oranges, tomatoes, cucumber, Madeira cake. The same lady was present every morning who worked very hard always bringing the food out, but be aware that she packs away promptly at 9.30. Pool - was nice and big with no other hotels overlooking us. At the beginning of our weeks stay we could get a sun bed fine, and at a reasonable time, but then towards the end when the school holidays started other guests had started to put the towels out at 7am, and we were unable to get 5 beds, so we went to the local beach. We didn’t buy anything from the bar, we did not take to the barman when he said outloud “uooh some ladies” we found this uneasy. He commented with a straight face about the water that we had bought from the supermarket, that there was a tourist fine of €800 for anyone bringing their own food and drink to the pools. It took us a while to realise that he was joking but he said it with such a straight face, not very welcoming at all. We were also told by someone else, that if you sit on the side of the pool he will push you in, I only saw that once when he was pushing a young child in. Overall we had a good stay for what we had paid for.

Most of my family and I stayed here as a group of wedding guests. Although the rooms were quite basic, I felt everything was sufficient for our needs, and suited to the climate. I could not fault the staff - they were friendly, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile. We received extra pillows on request, towels were changed daily, and we were quite comfortable. Loved the thick Greek yoghurt served at breakfast! Negatives would be: 1) Aircon not included in the booking and being expected to pay in cash for this and the hotel tax on arrival (this was sorted with help from others). 2) The showers are not great. They work, but take some managing to try and minimise water going everywhere. I don't know how a tall or large person would shower comfortably. 3) Some variety in the breakfast would have been nice - just got a bit boring after a couple of days. That being said, our experience over all was positive - we spent many pleasant hours at the poolside, and relaxing in the cool of the aircon! Many thanks to the staff for all they did for us! Having the knowledge that we do now, we would visit again.
