This was our 1st time staying at the Panorma and what a blast it was from start to finish. We were picked up from the airport by the owner Dennis, then welcomed by his daughter Nikki who checked us in. The room overlooked the swimming pool and you can see across the salt flats with beautiful mountains in the background. The room was clean and tidy with a very comfy bed we both slept so well, the cleaners would come in everyday to service the rooms changing towels/bedding. The pool area is kept tidy and plenty of beds for everyone. The location is perfect just a short walk through the salt flats to the beach, bars and restaurants which all serve amazing food. The beach is wonderful we used the beds at Mobey Dicks and the food there is really good value and big portions. They put on a Greek night for €20 per person is such great value and a serious must for all guest, it’s a great experience of Greek music and dancing and everyone joins in. We really enjoyed having a drink in the bar every evening chatting to the owner Mavra whom is so accommodating and does everything to make sure her guest are happy and we definitely had lots of laughs with her and the other guests. We made friends with other guest who were so friendly and gave us useful advice as they return year after year, it’s a home from home. We can’t wait to return next year it truly is a magical place.

Absolutely amazing time,always go here every year.Love the family to bits and will not tolerate anything bad been said about them,I know everyone is entitled to their opinion but if its not justified then it's a load of bull.Mavra and her team go out of their way to make everyone welcome and to make friends with their new customers as well as having friendly banter with friends who have been returning year after year.The apartments are always spotless thanks to an amazing cleaning team.If anything needs amended, then they just need to be informed in the bar and they are on it as soon as possible. We've never experienced any problems all the time we've been returning. The food is amazing and the entertainment, the best in Alykes,especially the Greek nite.Mavra and her team are the best,they are so friendly,welcoming and helpful.Any advice with trips or places to go you just ask and they will tell you the best,their car hire place is brilliant also with Niki and Dave offering great service.Once you stay here, you will be hooked.Come on ladies and gents,bring your family and friends to these apts and studios, you won't regret it,close to shops and other bars and short walk from the beach.Truly the best place to stay.xxx

“Good stay just dirty water from taps”

Stayed here for 7 nights arriving here late on the Monday evening. Greeted with a smile but seemed to go straight into you pay 10 euros 50 for tax. No mention of anything else. Stayed here for 7 nights arriving here late on the Monday evening. Greeted with a smile but seemed to go straight into you pay 10 euros 50 for tax. No mention of anything else. I asked about room safe after paying which I think was 20 euros for the week. We were then shown up to the room (7) by Dave which was basic but nice and also spacious. View of pool , salt flats and partial sea view. The rooms were cleaned everyday and it seemed clean all over. The only problem we had was the discolouration of the water for bathing in. I was told it was the same colour water the managers father bathed in but hey I don’t want to bath in dirty water. It was still the same colour when we left although they did try with new filters which for a short time made it slightly better and offered a room change to a family room facing the bottom of the stairs on our 4 th day there. We also went out and came back to a new fridge and shower curtain in our room. ( they were in need of a change) but Thankyou as it wasn’t expected. They seemed to try . The only other thing I thought they may consider was to bring in sunbed toppers when it rained as they were left soaking with guests using plastic bags to sit on under towels or trying to dry them in the sun. All in all though we enjoyed our stay at the Panorama and would recommend it but we always like to try somewhere different wherever we go on our next holiday.

Stayed at Panorma for 8 nights in September 24. We were very pleased with the accomodation. The location is great - opposite the salt flats, and within a few minutes walk of the sea and excellent tavernas, bars etc. We were offered a choice of rooms - ground or top floor. We opted for top (second) floor, which had a wonderful view of the pool and salt flats in front and the mountains behind. The room was clean and spacious, and the shower was hot, powerful and easy to control. We stayed B&B, which I'd recommend. There's a wide selection of breakfasts - everything from a full English to waffles to yoghurt. All tasty and freshly prepared, and they all come with orange juice and tea/coffee. Much better than a breakfast buffet, in my opinion. I only went in the pool once, but it was very nice - clean, well-maintained and a good size/depth. A few minor niggles prevented me from giving it a five-star rating. Firstly, the shower curtain was too short, and kept falling down. Secondly, as there are a lot of mozzies on the island, a mosquito screen would be appreciated. Finally, the sunbed cushions are deceptive - they look dry on the outside, but as soon as you sit on them, the water from the padding squishes through and soaks you. Fine if you're in swimwear, but we weren't, and needed to return to our room to change before we went out. As I say, though, these are minor niggles, and wouldn't prevent me returning or recommending this accomodation to others. Thank you to the friendly and hardworking staff!
