We spent 14 days in Karphatos in the most hearthful hotel in town. Three generations of women "rock" the hotel with their kindness, informations and smiles. The beach is 1 minute away and the pool has a lot of sunbeds and a shade. Big thanx for welcoming us in such warm way (also giving us breakfast when we came late). “Hotel for summer holidays!”

The hotel provides very good breakfast (missing olives) and is very close to the sand beach. Renovated rooms fits the purpose except the bathroom is very small. The staff is pleasant and helpful. There is a small swimming pool, but better to go to the beach. The city centre is 5-10 minutes walking.… more

The hotel provides very good breakfast (missing olives) and is very close to the sand beach. Renovated rooms fits the purpose except the bathroom is very small. The staff is pleasant and helpful. There is a small swimming pool, but better to go to the beach. The city centre is 5-10 minutes walking. We shall probably come again. There is a constant daily noisy motor-bike at 6.00 o'clock in the morning driving near the hotel.

The hotel was renovated a year or some ago. Suitable rooms with very nice bathroom. Most rooms have side sea view. Rooms are cleaned every day to very high standard. The hotel was renovated a year or some ago. Suitable rooms with very nice bathroom. Most rooms have side sea view. Rooms are cleaned every day to very high standard. Decent size pool, always enough sunbeds at the pool area. A bit too quite at pool area, although you can get drinks from inside bar. I would also prefer some more vegetation around the pool. The breakfast was served from 7am to 10am. The variety of food was adequate: salami, cheese, eggs, olives, tomato, cucumbers, jam, honey, butter, coffee, yogurt, croissants and other cakes… and selection of very good bread. Well, juices were not very good. Young lady taking care of the breakfast was very nice and young lady at the reception was kind too. Other personnel was a bit reserved but anyway polite. The hotel is positioned second row from the municipality beach. It is well positioned, 10 min walk to the city centre, 1 minute to the nearest beach and 15 – 20 min walk to the long beach where you can always find a solitary place for yourself even in a shade of a tamarisk tree. Close to the hotel is also well stocked super market where you can find everything from cooled drinks to prepared meals and variety of baked products. Cons: air condition for 10 euro extra payment, no safe box in the room but at the reception, TV with limited channel selection. Some noise from the road if you have balcony door open. Overall the hotel offers all services you can expect from small 3 star hotel to a very high standard. Ideal for quite vacations and also close to tavernas, shopping and bars in centre of Pigadia.
