Very good deal for the money. Good location. Very good breakfast. Great view from the breakfast area. Very clean rooms and common areas. Very friendly staff (especially the lady that is in charge of the breakfast) including the owners. Made me feel like family. They were very accommodating and allowed me to check in very early. I highly recommend it.

“Excellent location”

Although a little on the expensive side for the standard of hotel, the hotel has many plus points. Firstly the location is excellent. Easy walking distance to the bars, restaurants and shops. Although a little on the expensive side for the standard of hotel, the hotel has many plus points. Firstly the location is excellent. Easy walking distance to the bars, restaurants and shops. When you see some of the other hotels higher up the hill you’ll see what a great plus this is. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and our room was well maintained by the staff. The staff are friendly and very helpful. We had a car and parked in a nearby public car park, however the hotel apparently offers parking although not sure where this is.

Never been to main Greece before and Parga Town looked perfect for our holiday. Firstly, once in Parga the coach dropped us off at the top of a steep hill leading down the street which took you into the main town. The coach couldn't get any closer. Dragging your cases behind you in the heat, quite a distance, at least 8 minutes to your hotel is no mean feat, especially if you have mobility issues, its quite hilly and very uneven in Parga, be warned, take good walking shoes. We were advised the Olympic Hotel was central, it was, and that it was close to the beach and the harbour and it kind of was, as the crow flies, but in reality, not so close. You had to negotiated the meandering labyrinth of shops and bars along the way, plenty to spend your money on that's for sure. The biggest beach Valtos could be walked from the hotel, if you're able, approximately 30 minutes I'm guessing, quite hilly , or you could take a taxi which would take approximately 5 minutes, the taxi rank was literally down the road from the hotel. Another option, was a water taxi from the harbour but the charge was each person each way which made it quite expensive. Be aware, you might get a taxi down to the beach but doesn't necessarily mean you'll get one coming back as we found to our cost. Valtos beach Massive sandy/stone beach, lots of sunbeds/umbrellas, some charged separately from the restaurant attached to particular areas, some included if you ate at the restaurant. We walked down towards the end of the beach, not so busy. Take water shoes. Golfo Beach Restaurant Quite a walk from the Hotel. Has a very pebbly stone beach on its doorstep. Gets extremely busy, so get there really early, otherwise you wont get a sunbed, and you cant, comfortable, lie on large stones with a towel. There is a charge for sunbeds and umbrellas. Angela Hotel They also have part of the pebble beach next to Golfo Beach Restaurant. People staying at the hotel seem to reserve the beds really early in the mornings, so again arrive early, before 9am or you'll be disappointed and have a long walk back in the heat. The beach area around the Angela Hotel and Golfo Beach Restaurant is great for snorkelling. Large rocks in the water where plenty of fish seem to congregate. Main beach near the Harbour in Parga We ended up here most days, couldn't walk to Valtos Beach each day, way too hot and couldn't always get a taxi to Valtos, only 6 working at any one time, and to use the water taxi everyday would become too expensive. We were always at the beach by 10am as it got very busy. Parga Olympic Hotel Steps up, not many, into the hotel and steps again, not many to the main part of the hotel, but there is a lift to upper floors. I would recommend an upper floor, these have the best views over Parga. I'm only really thinking of people with mobility issues. We were on the ground floor which faced the back of the hotel, it was very quiet, as there was no through traffic, but it was very dark. We had a small balcony, when I say small, I mean small, a bistro table and 2 chairs just fit within the space but it served its purpose and there was a drying rack over the banister. I didn't like that there was no privacy screen between us and the rooms next to us. Fridge and kettle in the room. Breakfast traditional Greek fare and was delightful, fresh and plentiful and was on the 3rd floor. All the staff were amazing and really helpful. The views from the breakfast area were really lovely and a nice way to start your day. Bathroom was clean and towels changed daily if you put them in the really lovely large shower once used. Some mini complimentary toiletries but I took my own. My only grip was the bedding wasn't changed regularly, not even every few days. No additional charge for the air conditioning, blackout curtains on the windows worked well, safe in the bedroom, again no extra charge. Sports Bar Was great for a cheap but delicious meal. We had a beer and Gyros for 4euros. Rock Bar on the harbour Great view over the harbour, complimentary sealed nuts and crisps to go with good music and a few beers. Lithos Restaurant First night went to Lithos Restaurant as it was advised on Trip Advisor, traditional Greek meal. Souvlaki was very nice but no rice or salad came with the meal where as other restaurant's there had been. Harbour Is so very pretty, especially in the evening with the lights and the lapping sounds of the waves, lots going on, shops, restaurants etc. The Friends Restaurant Was lovely and literally a few buildings down from the hotel. Food was traditionally Greek, delicious and freshly cooked, we had live music both evenings which was fantastic. Return journey Cases were collected from the hotel by a minibus but you had to walk back up the hill to pick up the coach, absolute bedlam with people not knowing which coach was what, eventually the rep turned up and the panic was over.

“Cracking little hotel.”

The location is excellent, so easy to walk down to the main area. The rooms are kept very clean. The staff are amazing, so friendly. 4 stars not 5 as the shower was a bit hit and miss, but that was all. Comfy bed, great breakfast. We will return. Last but not least the weather was amazing.
