The hotel was very clean with a modern decor. We had a Silver side seaview which had the most amazing view, it was very almost a full sea view. There were plenty of sunbeds around both pools except there were people putting towels on the beds by the infinity pool (West pool) just after 6 am every morning which didn't give anybody else the chance of having those sunbeds. People from the hotel would walk around the pool around 8.30 - 8.45 each morning and if nobody was sitting there they would get a note telling them to go to reception (don't think anybody ever went). We stayed half board but wasn't over impressed with the food. The cooked breakfast was cold and not very nice so we just had toast/cereal/pastries/fruit etc each morning. The evening meal was awful, it was barely warm and we couldn't find anything that went together and mainly consisted of Veal and fish cooked various ways. If they done mashed potato they had to mix it with various things like mushroom or onion when sometimes you just want it plain. The rice was always mixed with various things again instead of just being plain. I could carry on complaining about the food but i wont. We were very disappointed as other reviews say the foods great but we didn't think so. We would return again as the hotel was very nice but only on a bed and breakfast basis.

The I Resort has an ultra modern feel to it, which is kept very clean and tidy. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The bar waiting staff are always on hand to ensure you have enough to drink. The I Resort has an ultra modern feel to it, which is kept very clean and tidy. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The bar waiting staff are always on hand to ensure you have enough to drink. However, the ultra modern decor means it feels quite sterile after a few days of being there. My 17-yr old commented it was like staying in an airport lounge. The rooms are equally modern and chic. Interesting/quirky bathroom configurations with glass sliding doors. Our 3 adult children (17-23 yrs) shared a room which had a separate shower and toilet situated next to each other, with only one glass door which slid between the two. This meant the toilet could not be used at the same time the shower was in use due to lack of privacy. The food is fairly fresh but the menu is largely repeated every couple of days, which got repetitive. Hot food wasn't always hot and sometimes chewy if you arrived to eat later. We therefore went out a few times for evening meals - there's some lovely tavernas in the area. The dining hall did get busy, with some queuing for seating even though it was only June and not peak holiday season. We thought this could have been avoided as there's another dining seating area which wasn't opened up during those peak times. We preferred not to stay for the evening entertainment but from what we saw there's the usual stuff - karaoke, dancing etc. Although it appeared there wasn't enough seating in the bar area during those times. Guests tended to mill around looking for somewhere to sit. That said, it was a lovely beach/pool holiday and the location is great. The infinity pool is fantastic. We had a spa treatment which was wonderful and, again, the therapist staff are friendly.

Staff - Fantastic, all very well presented, polite and helpful. I'd like to make a special mention of Paola (hope I spelt that right) at reception, who could not do enough to make our holiday run smoothly. You are a credit to the hotel and they are very lucky to have you. The manager of the bar was also a fun guy to be around. The cleaning team need to be aware that whilst they are working and have to be at the hotel early, the guests are on holiday/vacation and do not need to hear them or be woken up by them. They should be seen but not heard at all times! It was rather disappointing to hear them shouting out to one another from 8 am! Rooms - The rooms are clean, but basic in comparison to other 5* resorts I've stayed in, in my distant past. They do have the usual, air-con, bathrobes, slippers, balcony, TV (which I didn't turn on so can't comment on what channels it has), tea/coffee making facilities, minibar, blackout curtains and safe, which was easy to use. The walk-in shower was fabulous and well-needed after a hard day sunbathing. The Bed - was super comfortable To improve my suggestion would be..... 1. Add, hooks on the back of the main door, this would enable travellers to hang their travelling coats out of the way, given that they will probably not be used again until the trip home. 2. Add hooks on the back of the shower screen for bath robes, this will free up space in the wardrobe 3. Change the bedside tables for ones with drawers in them, this again would provide more storage 4. double the hangers as I used all of them on my own, so if 2 people are sharing this most certainly will not be enough. 5. Supply soft tissues on the dressing table, I would have thought this would have been standard 6. Supply a make-up mirror 7. More USB ports would be helpful and even type-C ports which appear to be up and coming 8. More hooks inside the shower to hang scrunchies and shelves that don't allow products to fall through the wire rack and the shelf big enough so that all shower products can be stored in the shower, example products I took, soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hair gel (I put on wet hair in the shower), facial scrub, 3 scrunchies, face, body and lady garden ;) 9. Make all rooms non-smoking including the balcony I loved the electronic do not disturb/please clean my room buttons, I spotted these immediately, however, my friend who is less well travelled didn't realise what they were for, so maybe when being shown to your room the hotel porter could take the time to ensure the guests know who to use the facilities fully, coffee maker etc. This would be a nice touch for less seasoned travellers like my friend. The decor is beautiful and stylish, I loved the tiling and the furniture and the lift/elevators are very attractive and clean! The pool - The east side pool there were lots of flies and bugs floating and the tiling wasn't very clean around the edges. The infinity pool was in much better shape. However, as always there are not enough sunbeds for the number of people staying, we were there when the hotel was at full capacity and people were laying towels out and then going out for the day and returning late afternoon. We brought this up with the staff and they said it has always been a problem and they are trying their best to sort it out as they know it isn't fair on other guests. We ended up having to take turns to get to the pool at 7 am to secure beds for ourselves, which is not what you want on a holiday/vacation. A solution might be....... For access to the pool to be restricted until a member of the team can be there, who will then allocate you a sun lounger and supply you with towels. Allow you an hour to go for breakfast or lunch, but if you do not return within 60 mins, the staff will remove all towels and belongings, which can be collected later. This might be a way to avoid problems and allow people to have a lie-in. Another solution is to get enough sun loungers for all/majority of occupancy, this would be difficult as there isn't enough space, so not sure how you'd facilitate this. The sun loungers on the beach were very close together. The beach is lovely, there are rocks closest to the hotel but a few steps further and you have a sand entrance into what is a shallow warm beautiful sea. However, the hotels are all close together so the beach is not private. The Food - My friend and I thought the food was fantastic, very well presented and very tasty and as for the deserts, OMG just delicious. My friend is a carnivore and I am a pescatarian and there wasn't a day/night where we were disappointed with the selection on offer. We also used the Salty restaurant for lunch and had an à la carte meal in Bliss on one evening. A suggestion would be to ensure that all staff are fully aware of what all-inclusive plus means so that guests don't have to tell the staff that they have paid for the upgrade. Entertainment - The entertainment was sadly amateur and repetitive. My suggestion is...... Get rid of all entertainment, it is unnecessary and a cost that could be used elsewhere. Or if you are planning to keep it, then you have to spend much more money on it with staging etc. However, the entertainment is not what most people book for, the majority book because it is a beautiful hotel, the facilities are good, the food is good and the sun is shining! The bar area could be more subtle with background music and allowing people to relax, be social and chill out after dinner and a busy day at the pool. The Spa - The spa was very overpriced and for this reason, we did not use those facilities. In addition, when someone says spa, I think more wellness, so not just treatments but sauna, steam, pools etc. There is a sauna and steam but these have to be booked to be turned on. So whilst the facility is there, it is difficult to access as the booking for these needs to be done 24 hours before you want them. I don't know when I'd like to use them until I use them if that makes sense, so pre-booking did not work for me and my friend and therefore we didn't use them. So I don't think it is fair to claim to be a spa hotel. As a Spa hotel, I would have expected more in the way of yoga, pilates and other wellness classes, I thought this would be available in the morning, before breakfast to start the day. I stayed in Corfu, many years ago and they had an outdoor studio which had shelter, and yoga and pilates were offered in the morning, before breakfast, it was a fantastic opening to the day, overlooking the sea, out of the sunshine. Sadly the Entertainment Team, a young guy and girl, just didn't engage enough. I'd say that they fell short of the energy levels expected of an entertainment team. the Zumba was slow and boring, and the water polo just didn't have the fun factor. Way more enthusiasm needs to be applied by both members of the team I'm afraid. It was very hot and the Island is pretty arid, so it would have been good to have had fitness classes in the air-conditioned gym available by some flirty enthusiastic staff, just a thought. These are just the views of one person and others may not agree with my comments but I hope it gives you an eye-opening to the hotel. The upshot is, that the staff, in the main are wonderful, the rooms are very clean, the food is fabulous, and the poolside is inadequately resourced but is still clean and nice. On a final note, I think in this day and age the hotel ought to be completely non-smoking, including balconies and the poolside. smoking is a disgusting smell and carries so makes relaxing by the pool unpleasant. Also, the staff should be told that smoking in entranceways is unacceptable as this carries through the hotel and means that guests have to walk through the cloud of smoke to enter or exit.
