Wow what a hotel … the staff at this hotel couldn’t do enough to help us they went above a beyond what we expected especially the following who were superb. Rosemary Crisoula Ioanna Antonis Anna Alex Chrysa Alexandros We can’t thank them enough they made our holiday complete. We had a great send off with plenty of hugs which we didn’t expect. A very clean hotel superb selections of food always something different plenty of choices. The drinks were superb best “Pina Colada ever. Bar staff were great. I suggest they could open the bottom bar in the evening too which could help along with some of the rooms could be up updated ( but you are not in your room a lot ) but that’s our only criticism. It has its own private beach with life guard ( they also sweep it everyday and clean down sun loungers) which is lovely plenty of sun loungers so there’s no rush to put your towels out like some hotels I fact they don’t allow it. Towels are provided so you don’t have to bring any from home as are hairdryers in rooms. The sea is quite stoney but clear and superb for snorkelling and with the proper shoes very accessible. The hotel is not far from Sissi a lovely original Greek village which has a lovely harbour lovely quality shops and bars not spoilt by commercialism. You can walk to it but also the hotel will ring a taxi for you. If you want a relaxed holiday with great staff who can’t do enough for you, excellent food and drink then you can’t go wrong with this hotel … we loved it and would recommend it to anyone. Great sunsets too. Thank you staff at the Grecotel Mali Palace you were superb.

“Very enjoyable experience, excellent price for value”

The location is superb, the bay in front of the hotel is perfect for snorkeling and swimming. Depth is rather low so everyone can swim comfortably. There is a canoa and a pedalo available for guests. Important: to best enjoy the bay, you need rock shoes The hotel is a bit isolated, so best to have a car, especially if you plan to visit other beaches/historical sites We found a very friendly staff Food was also very good (we're not into fancy restaurants though). Guests were mostly families with small children, which made it an ideal place for a quiet and relaxing vacation. This was good for us but obviously depends on what one is looking for. Our room was clean with a nice balcony.furniture was old and in need of renovation (does not hold for all rooms) Negatives: WiFi in the common areas wrks fine but there is none in the rooms (not even paying). The structure is not very big, when running at full capacity it feels a bit packed.

Wouldn't recommend! Me and my partner booked here for our babymoon and was very disappointed as we feel like the photos were a false advertisement of the hotel. Wouldn't recommend! Me and my partner booked here for our babymoon and was very disappointed as we feel like the photos were a false advertisement of the hotel. Definitely not a 4 star hotel in anyway! We had ants in our hotel room that were nesting in the phone, everytime we took it to reception saying we don't want the phone in our room they just apparently cleaned out the phone and gave it us back which annoyed us and the ants kept coming and finding the phone once it was back in the room so we ended up just having to shove it in the corner of the room so it was no longer next to the bed! First few days the air conditioning was hot air! Room was so warm and was difficult to sleep but after we mentioned that within a day or so they did change it to cold. Most of the restaurant staff are rude! We got ignored so many times and one lady didn't bring our drinks over once, so I just went and sorted it myself because it was the only way we were getting a drink that day and then some days her head was elsewhere when asking what drinks we wanted causing her to bring over the wrong drinks! Our flight home we weren't getting picked up till 7pm so we asked about late check out the day before as we were told and were told no even though the other people we got speaking to while here all got late check out! As a pregnant woman a few extra hours with the room would of been a massive help! Food was poor! Small selection of the same stuff everyday and wasn't a large range! We pretty much lived off chips, pizza and pasta the whole week! Lied about the restaurant on the beach aswell, that doesn't exist! There is a little pool bar which serves buffet style a few left over things from breakfast/lunch but flys crawl over it. If you're looking for a beach holiday this isn't the place! It's got a small area of what looks like a man made beach! Once in the sea you'll need footwear as its all stone. Again the pictures have false advertised here! Hotel isn't close to a town which I didn't realise! Can't just walk out the hotel and be in a town with other restaurant and shops, would have to walk for about 35 mins before you reach anything, and about an hour if you want to go to the more popular town near by! Only nice thing about this hotel is the pool and the entertainment staff! Pool was freezing but quite refreshing when the weather was very hot. Not the babymoon we had in mind which was a shame! Feel very let down by the hotel and would recommend for people to book elsewhere.
