Just returned from here and have had a fantastic holiday. We can't understand the negative reviews on here to be honest. It is very true that this hotel is not suitable for wheelchairs, buggy or anyone with mobility issues. There are a few lifts but there will always be steps involved too. We had a family room, split into 2 separate bedrooms and bathroom. It was very clean and the cleaners came every day, even if to just empty bins, change sheets and towels. The pool area is lovely and kept very clean. The pool bar serves drinks and snacks during the day and there's plenty to choose from. The restaurant is probably one of the best we've known for all inclusive (and we've been to a lot!). There was so much variety, bbq lunch and evenings aswell as lots of other choices inside and theme nights too. Even the fussiest eater would be able to find something. Our our issue, and it was a minor one, was we did find the desserts rather repetitive. There is loads of entertainment daytime and evenings. Lots going on in the pool area during the day and in the amphitheatre at night. As someone else mentioned, most of it is done in French. But, generally we didn't find it a problem. The atmosphere was fun and you didn't necessarily have to understand the language to join in. All the staff at the hotel work very hard. We do have to give a special mention to Nikos, Myton, Aleksandros and the 2 named Manolis in the restaurant. Anastasia, Linda and the young chap I the pool bar. They were all so friendly and helpful. Can highly recommend this hotel and, if we return to Crete, we will certainly be back!

“Enjoyable holiday but would rush back.”

Have just visited here with family including two children age 2and 4. I found it hard work with a double buggy as the hotel is over many levels and has lots of steps. Have just visited here with family including two children age 2and 4. I found it hard work with a double buggy as the hotel is over many levels and has lots of steps. We were not greeted with the warmest welcome. The receptionist seemed rude and stressed. We were given our key and just left to find our own way around- which felt like a maze to start with. We found a welcome pack tucked away in drawer on the last day which was annoying. We felt the hotel and entertainment was very French orientated. The restaurant staff were very efficient including Nicos &Myron who made us all feel very welcome. Bessy in the shop was friendly, linda in pool bar was great and the lady at the beach bar was also very friendly. How some staff we found to be quite rude. The food was ok but found the childrens menu very limited. Room cleanliness was ok not great. The pool area was a good atmosphere & snack bar available. The evening bar service was quite slow, often a queue with 1 person serving. The mini market was handy being onsite. You need to go through an underpass to get the the beach which was busy with cars. The beach area was private but quite a small area. The beach was very rocky - beach shoes recommended. The bus passes the main road every 30mins which goes to rethemno approx 30mins. 2 euros pp. Taxi was 40E for 7 seater. We paid 10euros per night tourism tax. Hired a single buggy for 20e deposit. Overall a nice holiday but an average hotel.
