“Great stay shame about the drinks”
Firstly, as other reviews state, yes it is a mainly French hotel but they animation team were very inclusive and the guests were all friendly and how hard is it for us English to say bonjour with a smile? Firstly, as other reviews state, yes it is a mainly French hotel but they animation team were very inclusive and the guests were all friendly and how hard is it for us English to say bonjour with a smile? The hotel is superb, we didn't pay tourist tax and the safe in the room was included. The WiFi is fantastic and all of the staff were great and help is always available. The food is what you would expect of any all inclusive in Greece but we managed to find something to eat every night. There's always greek style bacon, beans, eggs and toast on a morning and plenty of tea and coffee. The rooms are very clean and cleaned daily apart from a Sunday however, our room got cleaned on the Sunday also. Towels changed every second day. The hotel has free sunbeds on Livadi Beach and this is found in front of the Golden Sun restaurant. The hotel is in an ideal location in the middle of Bali. There is entertainment every night and the animation team are superb! We will be back in 2025! I would have given 5* but the all inclusive drinks are not good. You can get raki, ouzo and mastika cocktails and a couple of gin drinks and rosé, beer, wine and soft drinks. Other hotels we have stayed in Bali has cheap whiskey and Pina coladas available. This would not cost the hotel alot but would improve customer satisfaction massively. Thank you especially to Lisa and Adonis at the bar and we will see you next season !
