Great hotel, beautiful location, a lot of space to find your preferred spot, absolutely amazing food, great friendly staff, especially Alexander in the dining area, but all of them. Great entertainment. We specifically want to thank Christina the reception manager for being very helpful.

we have just got back from a week stay at creta panorama hotel near rethymon crete. what a great holiday the hotel and staff are amazing and do all they can to make your stay great,checking in was easy but beware the tourist tax as recently increased by the government it cost us around 48 euro for the week,after check in they take you to your room in a golf buggy if you are not staying in main hotel. the food is plenty full in the main restaurant and they have different themed nights, if you don't want to use the main restaurant for breakfast or lunch they have zorba's restaurant up by the main pool which as not as much choice but the food is good. the main pool is where the fun and games are but there are 3 other quieter poos and a kids pool if you just want to relax,there is also a little bar down by the beach where you can get a drink and snacks.the gardens are all wonderfully maintained being lush and green.the main bar in the hotel as plenty of options and even on the A/I option you could get certain branded spirits baileys Tia maria beefeater gin metaxa brandy. the bar staff are very good and a big shout out must go to them all for making us feel very welcome.the same can be said for all the staff at the restaurants as well. the animation team are one of the best we have come across on all our travels, and work very hard to make your stay special and if you don't want to join in they leave you alone.they do show's certain nights of the week and they are amazing from the Abba tribute night to the comedy night they put their all in.tony, Stacey anna and the guy who does most of the compare i think they called him Simone?. it was my birthday whilst on holiday and on returning to our room after a lazy day around the pool what a pleasant surprise to find a bottle of bubbly and a birthday cake in our room! A very big thank you for that it made me feel so special. even on checking out if you ask reception they will send up the buggy to collect your cases and take them to reception. because we had such a brilliant stay and felt really looked after by all the hotel staff it is with a sad heart i write the last bit of our review we booked to go to the barbeque on a Wednesday night at 8pm we got there at about 7.50pm checked in and we were shown to our table after they explained how it work from food to drinks.now for the disappointing bit ,we were seated as i say at 7.50pm and nobody came to take our drinks order or even to give us a drink of water at 8.10 pm a water approached and asked if we had been served drinks to which we said no, he said give him a minute and he would return.by 8.20 pm no sign of waiter so me and my wife got up and left and went to eat at the main restaurant on the way out the same waiter said i was just coming to serve you but we said not thanks and left,to make it even worse form our point of view people who came in after us had been asked for there drink order and served,as i said it is with sad heart that i have to write this as the rest of our stay was totally amazing. thanks for looking after us and making our holiday so brilliant. andy and lindsay

“Fabulous”

This was our 4th visit to this fabulous hotel and it didn’t disappoint. This was our 4th visit to this fabulous hotel and it didn’t disappoint. We arrived at 1.30 in the morning and were met by a lovely man on reception, we were given a beautiful rose each and a glass of champagne. Food was available until 1 am so we had just missed that but we weren’t hungry so that was fine. We had a room in the main hotel on the ground floor with a garden view. The rooms are very spacious with a good size bathroom and excellent shower. We were left a complimentary bottle of water and a fridge full of soft drinks, beer and wine. This was due to us being returning customer’s which was a lovely touch. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the pool area and grounds are well maintained. The restaurant has something for everyone, the food was really good and they did a different theme every night. We stayed all inclusive so could have lunch in the snack bar by the main pool or in the main restaurant. The main pool was really busy so after a couple of days, we chose to sit by the Mare pool which was really quiet and we loved it. There are plenty of sun beds around the 6 pools and also on the grassy areas, but if you want to sit somewhere in particular, you may need to get up early. The pool areas were being monitored between 7am and 10am during the second half of our holiday and towels were removed from unattended reserved sun beds. We are early risers anyway so this didn’t affect us too much, although we did have to start going for breakfast separately. The entertainment team were fantastic as always, they all worked really hard to make sure you had a fabulous holiday. We enjoyed all the shows we went to. Thank you Simone and Tony Macaroni we love you. We did have a drink in the main bar every night before the shows and the bar staff were excellent. They don’t have a list of the drinks at the bar but you can download the Iberostar app and see a list of everything, the drinks, the entertainment and more. My daughter and I love this hotel and will be returning. The only downside the transfer time from the airport which is nearly 2 hours on the coach or 1 hour with private transfer. But I promise you, it is worth it for this little slice of paradise!

I’ve travelled to 50+ countries and mostly stay in 4 or 5 star hotels, yet this hotel impressed me in many ways: + Huge, green and well maintained outdoor areas, overlooking the sea from basically everywhere + Multiple “swimming pools” in the sea created by rock formations that allowed us to swim despite stormy sea conditions outside of those pools + It never felt crowded as there are so many restaurants, pools and beaches in the hotel, so people spread out + It was very quiet at the beach, perfect for relaxing + Nighttime plays in the theatre were exceptional + Food buffets were awesome both in terms variety and quality; incredible sea views from restaurant terrace + All staff were sooo friendly and always greeting the guests, super positive atmosphere + There was live music almost every day, once even with spectacular fireworks behind the band - Rooms were very simple and a bit old; cleanliness was ok, beds not very comfortable
