Firstly this is not a 5 star hotel perhaps a 3-4. Our room was at the bottom of the resort and was very tired, and due to the tennis courts being at the back, we had no balcony view at all However the staff were outstanding and despite other reviews on here the food was very good with a huge choice. We hired a car so were never there for lunch but apparently that was also good The pools were clean with no towels going out first thing, so plenty of sun beds There is a bus to the local Bali beach. Don’t bother it’s packed and not very clean The evening entertainment was so bad it was funny. There were plenty of people at the hotel visiting for the second or third time. Overall we had a great holiday. Would I recommend the hotel,? Yes.

“Lovely peaceful secluded hotel”

Very nice hotel. Max 4 star. Arrived here Tuesday 15th October having hired a car at Chania airport. It’s an hour 50 drive. Very easy until you get virtually to destination. Very nice hotel. Max 4 star. Arrived here Tuesday 15th October having hired a car at Chania airport. It’s an hour 50 drive. Very easy until you get virtually to destination. Then it’s a 2 kilometre drive up a narrow winding road. You think your on wrong road but you need to keep going. Hotel is hillside with views across the valley. Can’t quite see the ocean. Met at reception and given a good welcome explaining where everything was on the complex. Our room was 432 which was perfect. Room rooms are down the hill which can be difficult as quite steep. Room itself was very good with double bed sofa en-suite large TV. And fridge. There was also a kettle but you need to get the milk coffee and tea from dispensary area and take back to room for when needed. Also had good balcony overlooking the site. There are 3 outdoor pools and a small indoor one. None are heated. They’re fine once you’re in ! There is plenty of food and drink in this all inclusive hotel. Best meal is breakfast with all the usual options. Lunch and evening meals are also good. There was plenty of choice and catered for most people. One could say dishes were a bit samey. However the quality was excellent. Didn’t hear of any complaints. Always plenty of dessert choice with ice cream. Around the main pool is the bar. Didn’t like beer in plastic cups but do understand H/S issues. Nice selection of cocktails which the wife appreciated. Area always had snacks to keep you going if required. Plenty of comfy chairs and pool sun-beds. Evening entertainment was er interesting. Couple nights were ok but some nights it was pretty poor. I mean embarrassingly bad. But the alcohol helped. Found all the staff friendly and helpful. Probably biggest downside is location. Hotel is very isolated. You can’t go for a walk out side the complex. Bali beach is 3 km away. ( definitely worth visiting) There is a constant free shuttle bus. However it’s a 12 seater. Last return run is about 6pm. If it’s full you need to find alternative travel eg taxi. Overall a very pleasant stay in a very nice hotel. Glad I had that hire car to get out and explore! Ps middle October no rain a few clouds but temp between 70-75. Perfect for us.

We had a really good week based in this very nicely located hotel. We had a car for the week and made full use of it to explore this lovely area in near perfect weather for the whole week. Some comments: The room [] was spacious [] had good sound proofing from other rooms and outside noise [] ground floor room had very little view [] ground floor room doors could not be left open as cats walked in [] TV poor BBC reception [] Excellent shower though the shower screen frame top was too low for a tall person and has sharp edge which I discovered the hard way! [] Cleaning was hit and miss - it didn't always happen and could be inattentive to detail. E.G. Toilet paper not replaced, Shower gel not replaced [] Bed large and comfortable though the sheet was too small leaving mattress revealed [] Safe was a good facility but at floor level which is difficult for anyone with mobility issues Pools [] Clean clear water which was warm in mid-October [] Excellent towel changing facility [] Good sunbeds and availability of sunshades [] Three good pools for confident swimmers [] Depth a constant 1.5m so not good for short people lacking confidence [] Only one ladder to get out and hard to hold onto the edges [] Very poor signage of depth Food [] Generally good and available [] Good to offer picnic bag but it was really a quite unacceptable quality of provision, hard bread, no butter, ungenerous filling. No vegetables, no drink. [] Availability of bread and rolls often lacking or needing pointing out to staff [] Fresh squeezed orange at breakfast was excellent [] More signage needed to indicate what all the dishes being offered actually were Entertainment Outdoor venue [] generally a pleasant place to relax [] Lighting inadequate so performers at the evening entertainments often just silhouetted in nightly 9 till 11 live shows [] Quality very variable. Feel Greek culture especially Greek dance could be better represented. Show involving dance one evening featured very welcome audience involvement deteriorated into holiday dance hits horror. [] Music at other times of the day mostly not Greek and mostly 60s and 70s hits, recordings often repeated and often too loud. Location [] Excellent views and potentially very peaceful. [] Relatively easy access to the east west main road. [] Good parking availability [] Good free transport to Bali resort though for those with car not clear instructions [] No information about local places of interest Staff [] Generally friendly, helpful and responsive

Where do I start first of all we arrived at the hotel at 4am then came to reception gave our names and then the man at the front was tired got confused and gave another couple our room ,and gave us there room now our room was on the top floor so for this elderly couple who had booked ground floor room got our room by mistake We let the hotel know what has happened in the morning and the lady said oh he must have been tired and didn't want to go far . Anyways get to breakfast and the food is served lukewarm there is a microwave for you to use if you would like hot food . We sat down had the food that was served hot cooked fresh best option really . Back to the couple that were given our room . The floor is very slippery on the stairs. So many accidents trips and falls . It says five star But I think they forgot to change it to a three star definitely not a five ⭐ in the restaurant are high steps which are dangerous for the elderly my mother didn't see it and tripped and fell onto the ground all they did was sit her in a chair no first aid nothing . My mum's leg was bruised and toe bleeding. Later that day my son saved someone's life as the stairs were slippery and the same couple who got our room fell and cut his head open . My son did first aid acted quick and was the hero of the hotel. My son had to say to the hotel to put him in the shuttle straight to the hospital. The food was the same everyday cold . Not served hot . We got our rooms changed three times in the end we settled for a family room with separate lounge then found out no windows . We had a good holiday otherwise as we travelled out a lot The hotel had excursions which were a rip off the hotel is on a mountain so the only place you can go is where the shuttle takes you or you can just stay in the hotel . The entertainment was rubbish. The pictures look so much better the spa dirty rip off No shops just one in the hotel . The service in restaurant was friendly shame about the food . In the end the managers did do us a favour we had longer check out till 2 pm with no charge .
