Not to be mistaken for the Kato Stalos Mare which is further along the road. Kato Stalos Beach is easily recognised by the gorgeous cascade of pink flowers down the front of the building - stunning! This hotel is fab, it is small, self catering and family run. We were greeted on arrival by Janas (not sure of spelling) who was really friendly and welcoming.He offered us grapes and gave us the choice of a ground or first floor room. He helped us with our bags and pointed out the safe (which was free of charge) and how the air con worked in our room. We had a large wardrobe, dressing table, dining table and small kitchenette area with all the pots and pans to easily make breakfast or simple lunches/dinners. The bathroom was clean - just one warning is that there is no way to stop the shower water spraying/running onto the floor, there was a drain on the floor so it was more like a wetroom and we tended to put our bathmat just out of the bathroom door as it would otherwise have been soaked. From the ground floor corridor you step out onto the beach which is awesome. There are sun beds and parasols available for hotel guests at no cost and a shower outside to get off the sand before you return to your room. We went in August and the beach outside the hotel never felt too crowded or hectic - we always had plently of space and quiet. The rooms are comfortable and very clean with everything you need for your stay. We stayed for two weeks and our room was cleaned and beds made up daily, towels/beds were changed every couple of days as standard and towels could be requested more frequently by leaving on the floor of the shower. The cleaner was so attentive - on the odd occasion we were in our room when she came we said we didn't need the room cleaned but when we went out later she cleaned it anyway. It is perfectly placed being directly on the beach and a very short walk to local shops and restaurants. Staff were always available to help with any questions or queries and greeted us each day as we went out with a smile and "Good Morning!" or "Καλημέρα!" We loved it and would definitely recommend to friends, family and you and we will stay at Kato Stalos Beach again if we return to Agia Marina in future.

“Little Gem”

Great little hotel right on the beach supermarket next door clean but basic owner very nice everything you need for a basic beach holiday no bar in hotel but free coffee in reception enjoyed will return

“Weeks stay”

Booked a week in these apartments right on the beach.The owner was a very pleasant man and we had a cleaner every day except Sunday.There was bars and good restaurants within easy reach which were good .As mentioned it's not the Ritz but homely and friendly.

Most of what has been said is true. BUT the place is called the Katostalos. No gap!. Confusing. In June 2018 there in no disco in the hotel along side. So actually quite quiet at night. Most of what has been said is true. BUT the place is called the Katostalos. No gap!. Confusing. In June 2018 there in no disco in the hotel along side. So actually quite quiet at night. The restaurant next door is closed so their sun beds are empty and again no disco at night. The staff and owner are very helpful. We got a shower curtain and extra shower mat so the bathroom floor stays dry. The building was a hotel but it's now simply rooms to rent. Simply fine if that's what you want, which we do. The review which talks of a restaurant is misleading. That is not this place but a similarly named hotel in the same resort. That is the Kato Stalos. It is five min walk east and is actually our favourite eating place. The beach is almost pure sand and a very gentle slope. Perfect for children and all those who are not good swimmers. The bus stop is close by for trips along the coast. Two small supermarkets and enough places to eat to keep you happy for a week. Enjoy.
