“A good 3 star hotel ”

The hotel was lovely with plenty to keep the kids entertained. We had no issues finding sun loungers and in a group of eight that is not always the easiest task. The food at the snack bar was lovely although we found the buffet breakfast slightly disappointing. The biggest let down was that upon arrival the glasses in the cupboards hadn't been cleaned but otherwise the rooms were spotless. It is very much not pram friendly with stairs everywhere which also gets very slippery when wet.

“Lovely, chilled and pleasant place”

Stayed for 7 nights at this resort with my partner and two kids (age 5 & 11). Arrived late and were greeted by the receptionist who was polite and provided us with a bottle of water. Stayed for 7 nights at this resort with my partner and two kids (age 5 & 11). Arrived late and were greeted by the receptionist who was polite and provided us with a bottle of water. The room was good, spacious and clean. We never cooked but had the basics to cook what you need, plenty of storage room and air conditioned. 3 pools in total, the main pool had 3 areas, a toddler part and then 2 larger pools - they were good but i would just recommend ensuring you have some sort of inflatable as although our 5 year old can swim the main pools are deep so he couldn't touch the floor. The other pools were an adults only which seemed very quiet and a water park which had 3 slides open 10-3, kids loved it and the lifeguard was a pleasant chap who the kids loved. Pool bar had everything you need, plenty of drink options and we had lunch there most days which were reasonably priced - the staff were all really friendly as well. We opted for the breakfast one day which totalled 42 euros for us all, it had everything you need but we opted to just buy breakfast from the local shop for the remaining days as it was cheaper. We ate out at local restaurants most nights, the one over the road (Kriti) was pretty bad quality so stay away from there but the one behind the hotel (Paliria) was lovely - we ate there twice. We also took the bus into Kolymvari which the stop was outside and cost 2 euro per person, buses run regularly up to 2 am and there were some really nice restaurants. Overall, we wanted a chilled quiet holiday and Kastalia Village definitely succeeded

“Not the best”

Travelled here for a week with family recently. The hotel staff are very friendly however the downfall to this was there was no entertainment, this was a huge shock to us how quiet the hotel was. The water out of the bar pump had an awful smell, rooms weren't cleaned everyday also. The area is nice… more
