You need to visit this place to meet him! The food is also very delicious with variety of meals each day. Rooms are clean and comfy. We are going to visit Crete Palm next year!

“Fabulous holiday!!”

I spent a lot of time researching to tick all the boxes for our holiday! Reviews on trip advisor really helped me choosing Creta Palm as wanted it to be right and it was. This place is perfect. 40 min drive from airport (we opted for private transfer). Check in was all good - we had requested rooms next to each other as my husband and I were travelling with our 20 and 13 year old sons. We had requested this with OTB but when we arrived they didn’t have any close together but did have a 2 bed apartment (which is what we actually wanted but OTB said there was none available!??) this was a good thing as meant less local tax to pay as you pay €49 per room. We had 2 bathrooms so was perfect. We were all inclusive which was fine - food was nice - little repetitive but only to be expected for AI. Choice of local non branded spirit drinks which was fine - cocktails not bad - choice of 4 - wine - only tried rose which wasn’t great but then I’m fussy! Plenty of people seen drinking it!! AI alcohol available from 11am to 10pm. Pools were lovely - bit chilly for time of year (end of May) but soon warmed up once in. Maria’s restaurant in Stalos (turn right out of hotel) big portions and tasty, 5 min walk. Bar next door to hotel has pool table and mini golf. Beach literally over the road turn left and you can walk for miles - some people say road is busy - it is a little but you don’t notice it. They are building a beach bar opposite which will be a nice addition to the hotel - with their own sun beds. Lots of choice of beach bars/restaurants at your fingertips. You can hire towels for pool at reception - think €10 per towel per week. Get bus in to Chania (pronounced Hania) outside the crazy golf - timetable at reception - buses every half hour for a 20 min ride €2pp stops at main bus station then it is a 5/10 min walk to old harbour with plenty of restaurants - all very good. Boat trip - monos boat cruises that you pick up in the harbour book online. €25pp you get 3 swim stops plus sandwich, cucumber sticks and homemade raki! Absolute value for money with history talk - MANOS and his assistant are brilliant. If you want to go to a water park you can get picked up outside the hotel on the funtrain so travel and entrance is included. €30pp. Book tickets before you go. Another trip out would be to get the bus to Kolymbari - onece there walk down the hill to the seafront and up to Mylos seaside cafe restaurant - club sandwich is amazing!! Finally to the staff at the hotel - all were really lovely. Jimmy, giannis and Mariana in particular good fun and happy in their work. all the staff were friendly and helpful. Massage and a body scrub onsite were great - highly recommend. Plenty of sun beds all times of day and stack behind toilet block should there not be any available. Entertainment - we weren’t bothered about it but whilst we were there there was aqua aerobics - saw there was yoga on one morning - magician show and karaoke. Rooms spacious and comfy beds - cleaned rooms new bedding and fresh towels everyday. Small kitchenette - take own dish cloth tea towel and washing up liquid if wanting to wash up!!! Hand soap liquid dispensers in bathroom and shower gel provided. We checked out at 11am and we were allowed AI until 3pm - there is space downstairs to leave luggage and a shower room should you need to change. Excellent hotel. Ness and family

Nice hotel, clean rooms and friendly staff. The beach is beautiful and is located right across the street, beds are available for an extra charge of 8e. We stayed in the hotel for 10 days, the rooms are cleaned every day and you get clean towels. There is nothing in the room for personal hygie... more

Nice hotel, clean rooms and friendly staff. The beach is beautiful and is located right across the street, beds are available for an extra charge of 8e. We stayed in the hotel for 10 days, the rooms are cleaned every day and you get clean towels. There is nothing in the room for personal hygiene except hand soap. The food is delicious, you don't have much choice of food but it is delicious. You have the smallest choice for lunch, and the all-inclusive concept is really limited and minimal. We were a little disappointed that there are a lot of older people staying in the hotel, who occupy the sunbeds at the pools very early. There is almost no entertainment in the hotel, there is something every 3 days, it is boring and repetitive. I do not recommend it to young people. You can certainly walk somewhere and have fun, there are many restaurants and shops in the street. Certainly a nice experience, but next time we would choose a more fun hotel.

This was our second stay at the Creta Palm hotel - and again a very satisfying one in all aspects. Very friendly personnel with smiles and good humor (esp. Jimmy at the bar, but also the sweet waitresses in the restaurant - esp. Ukrainian Liliia Horbachova). Very competent manager Eva Iliaki, who really knows her job. We were very happy with our spacious apartment, beautifully renovated since last time we stayed at the hotel, perfectly clean, joyful color scheme, two balconies, quiet as requested. Well-kept gardens. It is necessary to reserve loungers as the outdoor space is limited, but no major problem. We only had breakfast in order to explore the local restaurants; the breakfast offer is fine but could be more of a pleasure by an offer of fresh fruit salad or other cut fruit apart from grapefruit/oranges ... and a more thoughtful arrangement of the offers to avoid people cluster (around the toaster: stressful -- place toasters and bread in an additional location !! :)). The Creta Palm is a fine place indeed and practically located in the quieter part of Stalos; to the beach you just cross the street. We would certainly consider coming again.
