Hotel beautiful, rooms clean, food and drinks delicious but we had an unpleasant situation with one member of staff, we ordered breakfast to the room in the morning, on the phone we asked that the sandwich and scrambled eggs were without salmon because we are vegetarians, we heard that it is possible, then came a man who reproachfully said that we did not order without salmon, he was very unpleasant and we felt uncomfortable, from that moment the next breakfast to the room was unpleasant. Other than this situation, we remember our vacation very well, I can recommend this hotel to everyone.

Lovely hotel with good sized rooms and facilities. Staff where both helpful and friendly (some could crack a smile every now and then though) Multiple pools with plenty of loungers available, so no need to rush to grab a space. The main pool is impressive with a swim up bar which is perfect in the heat. The hotel spa is excellent and available for all guests, definitely worth spending some time in there. Gym is small and can get a little busy however is enough to keep your fitness maintained during your stay. We went half Board and I thought the food was good quality in the main restaurant but could do with a little more variety throughout the week. There was a large selection of food choices each night so you didn’t get too bored however in my view they could still have a little more variety each day. Breakfast was good and all you would need including a fresh orange juice machine. I didn’t attend the hotels other/themed restaurants so I can’t comment, but was aware that they come at an additional cost (if half board I believe €15 euros is abstracted from the final bill, but you would have to check) The room was a good size and we thought the bed was comfortable. Good bath and separate shower. Hair dryer in the room was not the best but did the job. Some things in the room appeared a little outdated for a five star hotel and the room appeared clean on first inspection. However looking closely you’ll see things do need a good spring clean and there was lots of dust/dirt under the bed/couch. Explaining why I wouldn’t class this as a five star hotel. There are some lovely restaurants a short walk along the beach which is worth a visit over lunch if still peckish. Also visit the monastery on the hill if you fancy a walk. Overall we had a lovely holiday and were pleased with the hotel, but it could do some small updates as suggested which would make it an excellent hotel/stay

Sorry tui this isn’t o e if you better hotels. When I started giving reviews I always said I’d be 100% honest. I have read some of the negative reviews and do agree with some but there is also some good Firstly the hotel doesn’t have any entertainment in the day or night other than a lady playing a piano. Not even any music by the pool.I’ve stayed alot of hotels with tui and this is the first. To have nothing! If you’ve got kids, think again. The hotel areas just need a good clean and some tlc. The main pool has seen better days, there’s mould on the steps and an inch of dirt around the water’s edge. Even the beach. If it was just looked after and kept nice with sun lounges that work. Rooms.. beds comfy but showers need another good deep clean. Mould again. Last bit of negative, the staff. The staff in the main Buffett are just miserable! They just don’t want to be there! The lobby bar and seaside restaurant seem to have the best staff. They’re friendly. We’ve had a relaxing week away and enjoyed the food and wine. Would we come back here. No sorry. We love Crete and stayed in other nicer friendlier hotels. Sent from my iPhone
