First time staying at Chrissi Amoudia Hotel. We received a very warm welcome by reception staff who escorted us to our rooms. There are only two floors and there is a lift. Rooms had A/C (much needed as temperature was 26-29 degrees)! Bed very comfortable, decent shower and plenty of space. Enough hangers for our clothes. Very clean and housekeeping was daily. The hotel and grounds were spotless, so many places to sit, in the sunshine or in the shade. The gardens were well maintained and such beautiful plants , flowers and trees dotted around the ground. Food was excellent with so much choice, something for everyone ☺️ the restaurant staff were incredible, so attentive, polite, helpful and chatty. We had an amazing holiday and fabulous experience at Chrissi Amoudia we have booked for next year! A very special shout out to the following members of staff who went out of their way to make our holiday very special Argiro, Katerina, Zach, Irene, Inne ❤️ thank you all so very much, we miss you already and can’t wait to see you all in September 2025. “Nice stay but depends on your expectations I suspect”

We had a nice stay as mother and son ( 11yrs ) at this hotel but it does have its ups and downs . First for the positives. We had a nice stay as mother and son ( 11yrs ) at this hotel but it does have its ups and downs . First for the positives. The general areas are really lovely and well maintained , due to the time of year it was very relaxed and absolutely no sunbed wars ! quick service at the bars and no craziness at meal times . 99% of the staff are lovely and work incredibly hard to keep everything going and the food for a 3 star ( as per the tui rating as opposed to the hotel rating - its definitely not a 4 star ) is nice with good variety - probably not great if you are any sort of vegetarian or gluten free etc but for meat eaters all good . We stayed in a bungalow with a nice little balcony and view of the sea and gardens . There was a one man entertainment team ( due to the time of year I assume ) who worked tirelessly - join in or not its totally up to you and un-invasive if you don't fancy it . The downsides - the rooms are dated and really need refurbishment , especially the bathrooms , threadbare towels etc . Clean enough but looking like they have had a hard life . The beach is a max 10 minute walk and pretty enough but the sea is full of rocks so not that easy to swim in but the biggest downside are the drinks - there is nothing branded at all on the AI package , which for the alcohol you just kind of deal with breathing flames but the entire range of soft drinks really are horrible - pop over to the spa across the way and grab a few bottles to keep in your fridge would be my advice ! Over all my expectations were pretty low as picked this up as a last minute deal for a really low price and I was pleasantly surprised in most areas - paying top notch August rates would possibly not be the same story .

Very nice hotel, well-kept, delicious food. The bungalow overlooking the sea has no reservations, but it is showing its age - the bathroom could be renovated. The rooms are clean. Rooms cleaned every day. Every evening there are attractions for children. The hotel staff was very nice, smiling and friendly. Even though the entire complex is very large, it is very clean.

Overall great family holiday We arrived about 230am swift check in after a 30 min bus ride.. room was spot on for how long your in there for.. spacious balcony.. beds comfy amazing shower.. with shower gel provided on the side… rooms was cleaned everyday bar Sunday, otherwise spotless.. the grounds are stunning full of flowers etc well looked after. yes the place is isolated from the main cities but if your looking to relax its ideal.. we was there for 2 weeks didn’t want to come home.. the food was very nice to be fair i was worried as read reviews before we went. breakfast was nice from pancakes to fruit to a fry up.. snacks was gyros pork chips hotdogs n hamburgers salads.. the ice cream in the snack bar a cone if u want was amazing.. my mrs enjoyed the cake think it was vanilla.. lunch we rarely went to as was full from breakfast and snack bar was good enough if was hungry but when we went to it fresh meats mainly pork n chicken beef always a show cook dinner well that was prob the best out of the day always a wide choice of fish, meats, again chips etc my only advice if your vegetarian it will be hard as it was pasta and spag bol and veggie version other than that mainly for meat eaters.. best part of dinner was the amazing pizzas cooked in a stone oven in-front of u unbelievable.. pool- the main pool was good and you climatized to it as its a tad cold even with the sun on it all day.. 2 kids pools small but ideal sun-beds we was there from end of august and it was easy we had same ever day and sun all day no issues no early starts always plenty thru the day. entertainment. this is ok for what the hotel provides min animation staff 3 and a small stage every night a mini disco for kids but after that lame shows but your holiday is what ya make it. me my mrs n som just chilled few beers under the canopy cards etc laughing at the karaoke. day time they could do more as min 20 min but don’t make a effort in organising the boules etc so you have to look out for them.. and no music around pool a let down this hotel is a 3* to me but potential to be a high end 4* with right investment and entertainment as thats only thing that lets this amazing place down.. the lager was amazing mythos. cocktails strong as hell.. the barman on the pool bar was a great barman always a laugh.. the shop keeper honest great person make sure u say hello he always has time to talk to you in the morning. the life guard thats there 6days a week is so friendly and always alert and helps everyone collects glasses also. theres a sports bar 2 min from hotel amazing food drink and all sports on and takeaway food late at night 1130 pm and amazing sunset from there also the big blue top of hill unreal food and drink pay both a visit worth it would i return yes. as nice hotel just some small tweaks and it will be quality we are returning to Crete in July but to a different hotel in Hersonissos at the royal imperial belvedere as a lot more on offer less money and a 4* recommended
