The staff are amazing, room was cleaned regularly, the man Michelle is the shop is so friendly and Zack who helps with the luggage. Food is good so no complaints. There is really something for everyone. We left to travel around by car which is needed in an all inclusive. All reception staff are extremely helpful. Travel to the nearest town is easy by taxi costing €10 each way. Animation is being improved but no children’s club for those who need it. We upgraded to a refurbished bungalow which was worth it. Pool is deep apart from a very small area for children. No hassle getting loungers in the morning. The trees and flowers are beautiful around. The massage therapist Raefella is amazing. Highly recommend.

The hotel and grounds are beautiful and well kept, and my room was well serviced and clean too, but the food was a huge let down, for the price I paid for 7 days, all inclusive, I'd expect to be eating a much better quality of food than I was.

“Disappointed stay”

Well i have mixed feelings about our stay at this hotel. Most of the staff were amazing, such as the luggage man, the shop keeper, the maids, reception staff and couple of the bar staff. However they were let down by a few rude members of staff, the first to mention was the exceptionally rude restaurant supervisor, who while were in the middle of eating decided to berate us in front of other guests and staff because we gave one of the many cats roaming around the restaurant a small piece of pork. It was so embarrassing and to top it off we noticed that everyone was feeding the cats, but for some reason he decided to single us out. If you don't want people feeding the cats then don't let them in the restaurant in the first place or maybe ask quietly and politely, not humiliate them in the middle of their dinner. We felt so uncomfortable that we went out for the entire next day. Then there was the main bar tender who was just rude and blunt when you asked for a drink and then pretty much slammed them on the bar, (we used the pool bar after this as they were much nicer) and then there was the tall bar tender with long floppy dark hair, who just grunts at you. I think these members of staff need further hospitality training or even replacing. The food was really oily and the breakfast was not good. Some of the lunch and dinners were okay, but i wouldn't say we enjoyed the food and it really upset our stomachs due to how oily it was. The hotel was full of Germans, who were just so rude and leaned over you when you were trying to get your oily dinner and would just walk at you expect you to jump out of their way. There were some good points to the hotel, as the rooms were clean and tidy, the only gripe would be that the balconies are not at all private and the bathroom floor floods if you have the shower on more than a sprinkle. There was only one english channel on the tv and that was CNN and the rest were in German. The grounds were very pretty and the pool was amazing first thing in the morning before the hoards of German's descended. There is nothing around this area and even if you walk to the beach, there are no bars or restaurants. We did go on the train rides and they were brilliant and showed what we were missing in other areas of the island. We enjoyed the sun, and the first week when it was quieter was okay, but unfortunately we would not recommend to stay here.
