Me and my partner have not long returned from our visit to Silva Beach. We absolutely loved it. But we do have some notes. - The hotel feels perfectly isolated. Although next to a busy main road, as soon as you cross through the reception and into the room area. Its dead silent. Nothing but crickets and birds. - There are a lot of cats around. Quite often walking around the restaurant begging for food. - The hotels location is perfect. Your close enough to pretty much everything with a small walk. But plenty far enough away from the main center bit (Which can get quite clubby in the evening) - The beach bar and the little jetty is the perfect place to watch the sunset. However, be ready to be approached every 30 mins by kids trying to sell you flowers - The showers are unreasonably small - The staff are hit or miss. Some are really nice, whilst others make you question your existence. - The food was incredible, however there isnt a lot of options. If your vegetarian, your only option is pasta - The onsite doctor is amazing and the staff are brilliant in a medical situation (found out the hard way) - The daily schedule and evening plans were relatively difficult to find, meaning we missed quite of lot of activities - The "romantic bar" was anything but romantic. Quite often you can hear them playing Eminem or old 80's club hits. Im unsure on your opinions, but that doesnt scream romance. It is however a great bar to relax at with brilliant views of the pool and ocean. We found that the beach bar was far more romantic. - We arrived at 3am in the morning. But when we arrived, they had organised a little plate of meats and cheeses in the fridge for us as we missed dinner. - Check out time is at 10am (I think). But our flight wasnt till 11PM. Knowing this, they let us keep our all inclusive wrist bands till we got on our coach to leave! All in all, this place has its ups and downs. Like everywhere. But I would definitely be coming back to this hotel.

“Perfect holiday”

Perfect holiday. First time visiting Greece. Excellent location. Clean hotel. Very friendly staff. A good variety of food. Staff do not hover over you waiting to take your plates. We can not find fault with anything. There are lots of shops and bars on the hotel doorstep.

Lets start with the negatives because there aren't many. Sunbeds, well if you're not up for 0530hrs you're not getting one there simply isn't enough for the size of the hotel. Simple. Lets start with the negatives because there aren't many. Sunbeds, well if you're not up for 0530hrs you're not getting one there simply isn't enough for the size of the hotel. Simple. As usual people put towels out then don't return to them until.late morning if at all. The hotel say they remove towels that have been put out early but they don't really. Seen them move a token couple of towels one morning, But if you leave your own towels or a personal item on the beds they don't touch them. People soon realised this. Safe in room. Yes there is one but they charge 3euros a day to use it. Never stayed in a hotel before where you have to pay a daily charge to use a simple combination coded safe. Coffee at the bars. If you want more than a bog standard coffee it's chargeable. Positives. It's a great hotel. Staff are so friendly and accommodating. The top pool is a large saltwater pool. Bottom pool near beach is normal. Drinks are standard all inclusive type. Food is really good for an all inclusive. Not repetitive like most are. Beer wine and soft drinks in restaurant is self service. Beach, well there isn't one really it's all rocks and what bit of beach there is, is all pebbles. Small beach to the left and I mean small, they charge for the sunbeds. But I'm not sure it belongs to the hotel. Great location just step outside the hotel and walk left or right and plenty of shops, bars, restaurants but you wouldn't know it from inside the hotel as it's so quiet. Would definitely return here and would recommend it as a great hotel even with the sunbed issue.

The hotel is definitely about a 3 star hotel and I wouldn't say it's a 4. First of all, the rooms do not look like the photos shown and are significantly small. The showers are tiny with no room and you have to stop the shower to do anything. The food was very repetitive in the restaurant but it was pretty average tasting food for an all inclusive. The asian corner food was very tasty and full of flavour. Despite the other foods being quite repetitive the salad is fresh and there is such a variety of desserts. We also tried the prime burger restaurant at the hotel and the caesar salad was lovely but wasn't a fan of the beef burger. This biggest issue about this hotel is the sun bed issue. Some people leave towels on sunbeds from midnight to early hours in the morning despite the hotel not allowing this. If this is an ongoing issue I think it should be dealt with instead of left with a note. During my stay at the hotel, we left some towels on sun beds then went for some breakfast (as if you do not reserve beds you will not get one) we came back and a group of people threw our stuff behind our beds and took our towels. Reception was not helpful on the matter as they didn't resolve anything and just said you are not allowed to put towels on beds then go to breakfast. If this is the case shouldn't the get rid of every towel that is on the beds? This issue needs to be managed ASAP so it is fair for everyone. The positives of this hotel is that the staff in the restaurant and at the bar are very friendly and there is so many restaurants and bars to go to so it isn't far out from anything.
