“Perfect Last Minute Holiday!”

Booked only a few weeks beforehand and at a great price, we weren't disappointed. In fact, it was just as we expected and certainly what we needed. A friendly, family run group of apartments based just on the outskirts of the town but close to the sea. Literally a 5 minute walk to the beach front with a few little quiet coves to choose from. And only a 15/20 minute walk to the town, but there's plenty of taxi's if you don't want to walk. The bar staff will organize one for you if you need to go into town and there are plenty around the streets on your return. We personally like to walk but did use once when we decided to pick up some shopping. There are some bigger supermarkets in town but there's also an Aldi close by too if you choose to maybe do a weekly shop while you are there. Especially for families who are on a budget. The apartments aren't huge but big enough for 2/3 with adequate facilities if you choose to cook for yourself. I suggest you take your own washing liquid, cloths and dish cleaning tools though. The apartments are cleaned every day with new towels and sheets 2/3 times per week. The family are always available if you have any issues and are more than happy to help with any problems. (And with a smile too). Nothing was too much trouble. They do have a weekly BBQ which is a great way to meet the other guests and the food was spot on. Would we go back? Mostly definitely! We had a lovely time, perfect setting, great apartments and just what we needed for a peaceful, relaxing and calming break away from our busy and hectic lives at home. So thank you for a lovely time!

“Last minute trip”

We booked last minute for 3 nights here, our apartment was ready on arrival and spotlessly clean. Pool was lovely, relaxing and never a problem getting a sunbed and lovely to be so close to the cafe/bar on the side which served nice food and drinks. We booked last minute for 3 nights here, our apartment was ready on arrival and spotlessly clean. Pool was lovely, relaxing and never a problem getting a sunbed and lovely to be so close to the cafe/bar on the side which served nice food and drinks. Stavros and his family were great, always on hand and really looked after us - thank you! Beaches really close by - Sarantari was our favourite with lots of space and great snorkelling. There’s a small shop about 2 minutes walk away which was handy. The main town is 15 minutes walk with lots of choices of places to eat and things to do. We had a lovely time and hope to be back soon!

We had a fantastic stay at these family run apartments with my family. We had 2 apartments and stayed for 4 days. One for my husband and I and another for our sons aged 20 & 17. We received a warm welcome and even though it was late at night by the time we arrived, Stavros made the boys cheese and ham toasties which they enthused about. The apartments themselves were spotlessly clean and functional. The bed was comfortable and our upstairs apartment no16 had a sea view. We ate breakfast for a few days on the veranda but I had forgotten to pack a tea towel and washing up liquid. The shop at the bottom of the road was open one of the days but as the season was only just starting it was poorly stocked. There was a Lidl within walking distance and my son ran there to get fresh croissants in the morning. There is a really good pool with plenty of sun-beds. The apartments are a good base to get into the lively Hersonissos town with its restaurants and bars and we had a few lovely meals out returning to the bar at the Saradari apartments for a drink afterwards. We had always intended in splitting our time in Crete with our stay in Saradari and then onto a bigger all inclusive hotel with a water park but we felt bad leaving and really didn’t want our hosts to think we were leaving because we were unhappy. Quite the opposite. Thank you for a wonderful start to our holidays and we shall definitely return.
