I was a bit worried before staying at this hotel based on some of the previous reviews but had a wonderful stay! I went with my husband and 13 year old daughter for a 2 week stay. The location of the hotel is fantastic with many local tavernas and shops on the doorstep. Piskopiano and Koutoloufari are lovely little villages with a great atmosphere in the evening. We indulged in some amazing traditional cuisines and enjoyed the area very much. We also visited Old Chersonissos. Again, this was a fantastic place to visit. Whilst it would be walkable we used taxis to go there. We also went into Hersonissos, walking down the hill to get there but getting taxis back up because it was too hot. Hersonissos was OK but more touristy/ clubby. Preferred the villages which were lively enough for us. The hotel room was adequate for our stay. Yes, the fixtures and furniture are dated but in my experience, many in Greece are. I think 3 star is a fair rating. We did not attempt cooking in the room and just ate out. The fridge was fine and the kettle was clean enough. The shower was great, really powerful until the seal broke and it flooded the bathroom! Reported this to Reception and they were very prompt at arranging for Maintenance to fix it and for the Housekeeping to clean the mess. No complaints whatsoever about the response to our issue. The staff are fantastic. The Housekeeping staff work really hard and the cleaning service was good. Rooms cleaned and beds made daily. Fresh towels and linen provided every other day. We had a fantastic balcony with views of the sea and the mountains. It was shaded in the heat of the day and a nice place to retreat for a break from the sun. There are two pools but we only used the bottom one. It was very deep but that didn't bother us at all. Seemed clean and was definitely welcome given the August temperatures. There is a bar at the bottom pool which is open from 10 - 6 daily. The Barman Ben was great. They didn't seem to do much food. I saw people ordering toasties but we didn't buy food there. We did enjoy the drinks though! There are steps in this hotel and I would advise anyone with reduced mobility to avoid going. I think it would also be difficult to navigate with a pram. There is a ramp to get up to the top but it is very steep. We had to take our cases that way when we arrived and left and that was a struggle. There were also steps to our room and we had to carry our cases. It was not a major problem for us but might be for some. Overall, we had a wonderful stay

Really nice place with nice apartments not just a room. Two really nice deep pools one with a bar area with a really helpful barman called Ben at the lower pool. Really nice place with nice apartments not just a room. Two really nice deep pools one with a bar area with a really helpful barman called Ben at the lower pool. The air con was surprisingly FREE and included in the price so it seemed. The complex opens on to the main street will lots of shops and places to eat that I will review separate from here. The apartments at the lower end of the complex had really bad wifi most of all in the rooms. The wifi is the bar area at the bottom pool was OK but not great. My only other comment was as a self catering room the cooking facility was a one ring electric plug in hob unit that night be a bit limiting but this was a minor problem because of the number of shops etc. to get food. Really nice and quite place with the main town about a 15 min walk down hill which could be hard work in the heat walking back. Will definitely be coming back.

We were disappointed overall but especially with our apartment here this year. We booked a premium apartment with jet2 but because of mobility and access, I emailed and asked for a room near the entrance. Beware if you do this that not all the apartments have been refurbished to premier as we were led to believe. In fairness website does say that your room might not be similar to that pictured. Hmm yes, no resemblance at all, very basic very warm poorly equipped apartment with hard uncomfortable single beds. See pictures. Air con is free but not that great, ditto Wi-Fi. Cleanliness and housekeeping you can’t fault although bedding is only a single sheet, no covers or cushions. This hotel has potential but needs improvement. Pool bar does not serve breakfast and not always any food at all, poor selection of drinks. Top bar never open, shame as the lounge is nice but under utilised. Very quiet if you like that, but dull atmosphere and staff indifferent. Obviously location is excellent. Do your homework and triple check what you’re paying for and if the refurb is complete before you book. 2025 may be much improved.

This is an honest review on the situation at these apartments as of 6/9/24 first off the staff are very friendly and welcoming , housekeeping are good bedding and towels changed every 2nd day and apt cleaned every day. This is an honest review on the situation at these apartments as of 6/9/24 first off the staff are very friendly and welcoming , housekeeping are good bedding and towels changed every 2nd day and apt cleaned every day. Now the bad news , everything in the apartments isn’t just tired it needs taken out and replaced , furniture is old and rickety. TVs don’t work, neither did hair dryer but that was replaced. You can boil a kettle , absolutely no chance of even boiling an egg on the rusty 2 plate table top stove. The shower head was held in place with pen top . The fake grass needs taken up and thrown out , the smelly cats need to find somewhere else to live . The new owners have a lot of work to do. Ours was described as a premium apartment , would hate to see a standard one. New owners please take note ,would like to return but so many things need to be done before it even could be classed as 3 star , AC is free but totally ineffective .
