We absolutely loved our stay here at Eri beach. We came for one week and were blown away with how amazing all the staff and facilities were. The all inclusive restaurant was always top quality with fresh local products. We especially want to thank the animation team who were always welcoming, our kids would not stop talking about the time they spent with Emma and Sara in the Kids Club. The sports animators like Sam were so nice to talk to during the day time, and he always did an amazing job running programs like Aqua Aerobic!

“Family friendly budget hotel.”

Reception staff were friendly and courteous. The rooms are dated but if you are not fussy and don't mind a flaw here and there it will not ruin your holiday. Airco does not work well. Management should consider going through the rooms and do the necessary fixer uppers here and there but definitely get the airco checked out. Apart from that the room was functional and we saw housekeeping daily. The safe can be rented for Eur 2/day. The pools and grounds are kept in as good a shape as possible but here too, the main pool can use a little sprucing up. All other pools were just fine and the recently opened new water slides will have your kids buzzing of fun. Getting a sunbed was not difficult but how this will fare in July and August I can't tell you. People do go put out towels on the sunbeds but the complex is large, very spread out and next to the sea. I don't think it will be too difficult to find a sunbed to drift away in as those rays hit you. The grounds are kept clean and neat with shade found everywhere if needed. The main pool bar is staffed by two bartenders whose souls seem to have been sucked out of them. Granted, standing there for 10-12 hours pouring one plastic cup after another full of a beverage is just soul sucking and mind numbing. The all in drinks are limited to generic soft drinks, local beer and wine but also the cheapest ouzo I ever had and something they call brandy. All in plastic cups. If you want a better cocktail you can pay at another bar. There are all in bars by most if not all pools, staffed by similar individuals whose soul purpose is to fill up plastic cups. the one does it with a smile or kind word, the other, a welcome extra in the Walking Dead. The food is your run of the mill all in type of food. Breakfast is always the same, lunch is at times varied but be prepared to queue if your kids want some french fries or if you want some freshly fried up meat. Dinner is no better. Similar foods served and by day 4 or 5 you will have had enough. There is no organization and the free for all at times is just seriously hectic with everyone just running through each other and cutting in. All that is needed is a barrier where one side is entry, the other exit. The waiting staff worked at a hectic pace to clear off tables as fast as they can and they are to be applauded. Just be prepared for madness. Evening entertainment is hosted by the most boring DJ I ever encountered. I am not sure about the other 3-4 people, who they are and their role but they were fine. The main old DJ was just a bore, a mumbling fool who thinks parents will shot Ouzo for his music quiz. I have never seen so many people leave a quiz after a few rounds because your prize if wrong or correct, a shot of the nastiest Ouzo I have ever had. His bingo skills have about as much energy and fun as a sloth. My kid found the evening entertainment very disappointing. Near the entrance of the hotel is a small arcade, avoid the claw/crane machines. You will not win, they are setup to drain you of funds for a prize. Instead I suggest you walk down to the town (15-20 mins walk) and next to the White Lion bar/bistro is another arcade, same games, massive difference in getting your kid a prize. Mine waked away with 3 medium sized teddy bears and many many smaller toys. Spent less than half we did at the arcade near the hotel. Another place we enjoyed was Coffee Island, great Ice Latte, great coffee in general. The town itself isn't much and is a consistent of Souvenir - Restaurant - Supermarket - Shop. The walk around the hotel complex is nice, relaxing and continues on alongside the ocean. It gives you some great sunsets and rises. Overall, Eri is not a 4 star in anyway, maybe closer to a 3. It has its flaws but also its charm. You can tell that a little more here or there could turn this place around for an even better experience for its guests. If you don't mind minor flaws and are looking for a budget friendly family place the kids will surely enjoy, then yes, this place is just fine.

Review of Eri Beach Resort We stayed at Eri Beach Resort for 10 nights from May 27th to June 6th, 2024. Our group consisted of two adults and three children aged 3, 5, and 8. First Impressions Upon arrival, we found the hotel to be even more impressive than it appeared in the pictures. We landed late and arrived close to midnight. Despite the hour, the staff were very polite and assisted us with our bags to our room. Accommodation We stayed in a two-bedroom garden view room on the 3rd floor of one of the blocks. The room was basic but met our needs. One room had a bunk bed and a single bed for the kids, while the other had a double bed (two singles pushed together). For families like ours, I would recommend requesting a room on the 1st or 2nd floor. It was a minor inconvenience to carry buggies, pool gear, and sleeping toddlers up and down the steps, especially in the heat. The Resort We found it a bit challenging initially to discern from the pictures what was part of the hotel and what was external. However, Eri Beach has five pools, each with its own unique features: Water Park Tower: Located on the premises and next to our room, this tower with two levels of slides was built in 2023. The water is shin-high, making it perfect for our kids, from the 3-year-old to the 8-year-old. They loved it. Quiet Pool: Below the water park, this new pool is relatively quiet compared to the others. Restaurant Pool: Located below the quiet pool and beside the restaurant, this pool features a waterfall and maintains a peaceful atmosphere. Baby Pool: Below the restaurant pool, this area includes a baby pool with a squid slide. It was also a quiet spot. Main Pool: The largest pool, featuring three slides and filled with sea water. This pool is where most guests gather, and we never had any issues finding sunbeds. The water temperature was mild, almost warm. Adjacent to the main pool is a baby pool with a squid slide and three tunnel slides, also with shin-high water. Additionally, there is a small beach next to the main pool, with stone barriers creating a shallow, safe area perfect for our youngest child. Dining The food was typical of an all-inclusive resort – good but not great, catering to a wide variety of tastes and cultures. Our only critique is the inconsistency in kid-friendly options. While pasta was always available, items like chips, breaded chicken, and pizza appeared sporadically. We dined outside the resort 3 nights. The resort is near the end of the strip, there are coutless restaurants along the strip. Each meal we had was delicious with each restaurant offering beautiful views. Prices would be similar to a little cheaper than Ireland/UK restaurants. Entertainment The entertainment team was fantastic – very friendly and inclusive. They were always up for a chat and engaged everyone who wanted to participate in the pool games. They also ran a kids' club and a mini disco, which our children thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, Eri Beach Resort provided a delightful stay, particularly for families with young children. The amenities and friendly staff made for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
