Pluses: Great location, right next to the sea, shops, restaurants, etc. OK rooms (we booked a double room and got the room with partial sea view which was perfect). Furniture older but functional. Daily cleaning (though not very thorough), fresh towels and other amenities on demand. Great food which we appreciated and enjoyed. Minuses: Not all staff were really friendly, especially the two grumpy guys at the pool bar. Time schedule means nothing there (On our first day we checked in and then wanted to have something to eat, it was 5 p.m. The afternoon snack time is set between 4 p.m. and 5.30 p.m., however, there was nothing left by 5 p.m. and the only response we got was 'Finished. Sorry.' So we stayed hungry until dinner which starts at about 6:15 p.m.). The place is neglected and needs some serious TLC (broken tiles, scraped paint on the railing, cables sticking out of walls, etc. which does not need a lot of money or effort to improve yet nobody does it). The shower by the Star beach has no drain so lots of sand accummulate there, nobody cares. One day one of the guests probably could not stand it so he was trying to remove the sand with water and his feet for over an hour. The inner doors of the lifts were unbelievably dirty yet nobody cleaned them (it would only take one cloth, a bit of water and maybe 5 minutes of time to clean). There were three lifts and most of our 7-night stay only one of them worked. There were lots of mosquitos yet no mosquito nets installed. The double bed had one big mattress (not two separate ones) meaning that when one of the couple turns or moves, the other one is disturbed. The AC is paid extra in September which was OK with us but its blades were extremely dusty, probably nobody cleaned the AC unit for months. I could go on and on, it depends what one focuses on. We read the reviews so we were not expecting first class service and we had a good holiday, however, this is definitely not a 4 star hotel - it lacks in quality, care, and cleanliness. The food is fine, the location great and if you don't focus mainly on the negatives, you will be OK here though it's not perfect by far. Rooms Older furniture but functional. No mosquito nets. We got room no. 7528 on the 5th floor of the largest building with partial sea view, there was one double bed, one bunk bed, a balcony with two chairs and toilet + shower, it was OK. Don't know what the rooms look like on other floors or in other buildings (the resort is huge). Food and drinks All inclusive is not really all inclusive here, more like an extended full board. You get really good and varied breakfast, lunch, and dinner but nothing else, just some tiny cookies/sandwiches around 4 p.m. Hot beverages only for breakfast (long queues). Soft drinks are lime, orange drink, soda, cola and water, that's it. Alcohol: watered brandy, ouzo, beer (cannot judge as I don't drink it), mediocre white and red wine. Cocktails are paid extra.

As for the pluses: + people from the kitchen very friendly, good food - every day something new for dinner + good location The minuses are definitely more: - the hotel definitely needs to be renovated.... - The floor in the pools is crumbled ( the tiles have come off and there are cavities which can be dangerous especially for small children) - rooms are very cramped - they definitely go for quantity and not quality - balconies are old and the floor on them also leaves much to be desired, you do not even feel like sitting on the balcony in the evening because they are neglected.... - cleaning ladies throughout the trip did not wash the mirror in the bathroom.... - I had with my friends a room for 3 people, with a double bed and a bunk bed, on the bunk bed we kept our clothes spread out, because in the closet there were 8 hangers and NO shelves, and on the floor there was barely a passage between the bed and the closet, so suitcases were also impossible to spread out - the ladies of the service at the reception sit there as if for punishment, they do grace with every answer and are not helpful at all, and instead play themselves games “find the differences” on the computer.... A colleague's swimsuit fell from the balcony onto the roof of the dining room, which was below us, and we spent three days asking the reception ladies for help and they completely pounced on us 3 times :) - those who had rooms on a level with the roof of the lower buildings had views of the neglected roof full of things that fell from the balcony to others and I guess the whole season was not taken off.... -the free loungers are mostly in deplorable condition - alcohol on all inclusive is only ouzo and brandy, and if you want a normal drink you will pay 9euro for vodka mixed with flavored syrup - we ordered strawberry mojito hoping at least for some strawberries in it or a mint leaf, and we got vodka with strawberry syrup, a tragedy - it is definitely more worthwhile to drink in the city. The whole hotel is neglected, the elevators are so dirty that you are afraid to lean over and touch something because you can get stuck, the couches in the corridors are destroyed and the windows are so dirty that you can barely see through them....
