“Awesome family friendly hotel”

We stayed here for 1 week and from start to finish I can't fault the hotel and its staff. We stayed in a superior room which was very modern and overlooked the pool, no noise issues as the bar was quiet by 10/11 pm. The waiting staff at breakfast were awesome 👌 as was the choice of food on offer, the coffee was great quality. We ate at the restaurant Olivia the night they had traditional cretan music and dancing and it was superb , 4 courses for €25 euro and the food was very nice. We will be back.

“Lots of steps”

Nice hotel. Beware of the many steps down to the pool, bar and reception. Not for the faint hearted. Tourist tax is €7 per night per room. Pool is extremely slippey, sever people reported it. I wouldn't actually consider this as 4 ****, although very nice.

The hotel is on the edge of the small town, ideally placed for restaurants and shops without being too noisy in the evenings. The hotel is on the edge of the small town, ideally placed for restaurants and shops without being too noisy in the evenings. The main town is approx 15 min walk downhill, remembering you have to return uphill, so not suitable for those with mobility issues. There are a huge number of steps from the road down to the pool area Our apartment was large with a generous balcony, basic cooking facilities avaliable with a standard size fridge, with everything needed if you were to self cater Clean and comfortable beds, a great nights sleep with huge choice at the breakfast buffet The hotel was spotlessly clean, both in the rooms and communual areas Good selection of books on the book swap shelves in reception Whilst we booked and paid for half board, we ate out in the evenings. Breakfast was very good, the evening meal was ok but not great. Next time I will book bed and breakfast Staff are friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. A special shout out to the staff at the pool/breakfast bar who were exceptional. Will definitely visit again

We had a lovely 4 weeks at the Asterias village in an apartment with sea view. We visited this complex a few years ago and to me the pool area has been spoilt. We had a lovely 4 weeks at the Asterias village in an apartment with sea view. We visited this complex a few years ago and to me the pool area has been spoilt. The apartment was cleaned daily and sheets changed every 2 days but to me not 5*. We like to eat in to take a break from the lovely restaurant food and we found the apartment kitchen short of utilities ie small pan bread knife and for 5* no microwave, reading replies to some reviews that said “just ask” and you be supplied but it’s 5* and should be in the kitchen.
