The territory is beautiful, green. There is a lack of cleanliness everywhere. I did not like the food, it was not tasty, everything was made with one spice. The hotel received 5 stars some 20 years ago, probably. Now, all in all, 3-4 stars. There is a great lack of cleanliness and minimal repair and renovation. I would come back only because of the beautiful, green area.

“Spa is the highlight of the hotel”

The overall experience of the hotel is not ideal. Its dirty and outdated. Definitely not worth a 5 star rating. But the staff is very nice and super helpful. “NOT 5 Star!”

Accommodation: It was good and the rooms were kept very clean with a spacious balcony each. View weren’t anything to rave about but it was quiet as we were up the back end of the hotel. However, if you are allocated to the front end, you will hear nothing but endless “Baby Shark” from the hours of 1900-2100. We were ecstatic with our room allocation as this review would have been a 1 star for me if we were in the position of other unfortunate visitors at the front end towards the beach. Food: Now; read carefully, food in the “Main Hall” was excellent! There was so much variety. They really did cater for Brits, Dutch, Italians, and those who visit Greece for its local cuisine. It was delightful. However, the “A La Carte” was shocking! It was everything BUT an A La Carte. In all hosnety, it was a “False Illusion” to encourage you to pay for local Wine prices at €80 minimum under the pretence that you are entitled to a “FREE” A La Carte if you have paid for all inclusive. The food was literally from the night before in a smaller dish, carted down to you and tasted gopping. The fish, I attempted to slip to the cat beneath our table who turned its nose up at it also. My wife and I left after the main and went back to the main hall where we were met with fresh king prawn stands that were beautiful. I have dropped my review by a full star and a half because of this experience alone. It felt like we were being conned. Entertainment: Top/Back Pool & Bar: Lovely. Demeitri was the Greek version of “Del Boy”. He was very professional, could speak multiple languages and knew how to build a rapport with his audience and keep them happy on their holiday. Without him, the area would have been relatively boring. (For people wanting a relaxing time and Spa treatment.) Bottom/Front Beach Pool & Bar: Young. Lively. Semi- Rave like. All entertainment shows are displayed at the bottom for younger individuals wanting to party of have kids to entertain. It is well placed, a couple of steps and you are on the beach. (For those seeking a Party Vibe.) All inclusive Alcohol: “Interesting”.resort. Surroundings: The local community is around 30mins walk away but if you are into snorkelling there is some fantastic little coves around with plenty of fish to see in the wild.

“Nice enough trip”

We had a nice enough stay at Annabelle resort. Although as many have pointed out, not a 5* stay, more like a 3*. Most of the staff were friendly, of note were Menalaus on reception who was extremely helpful and friendly, Gianna in the top bar is the hardest working bar tender I think I’ve ever seen… more

We had a nice enough stay at Annabelle resort. Although as many have pointed out, not a 5* stay, more like a 3*. Most of the staff were friendly, of note were Menalaus on reception who was extremely helpful and friendly, Gianna in the top bar is the hardest working bar tender I think I’ve ever seen, and makes a fantastic margarita! And the lady who cleaned our room was very sweet and hard working when I did eventually see her (sadly didn’t get her name), a few the others left customer service to be desired a little. Especially the pushy lady at the spa, who kept calling my husband “the boy”. Could be a cultural thing but he is 35 🤷🏻‍♀️ The food and drinks at the buffet were tasty and plentiful, I had no reason to complain and all the meat and fish was cooked beautifully. We had just booked out of the season for the A La Cartè taverna which was a shame. The moussaka on the buffet was amazing, as were all of the Greek speciality dishes. For those who just wanted pizza and chips well…. They missed out on the good stuff but they were catered for. Annoyingly the all inclusive beers and cocktails are served in tiny cups and filled 3/4 of the way, so you had to constantly go back to the bar. We went in October so it was quieter than high season and we could always get a sun bed in shade or sun, although the parasols were pretty small so didn’t provide much shade for any length of time. Sunbeds were also pretty tired and worn out, many were broken. Access to the sea was also pretty rough, as there are very large (but smooth) rocks for a good 100m from the beach, so made it difficult to walk out. Luckily the tide was in so I just swam across the rocks until I could see sand - except I couldn’t put my feet down as it was too deep. So spending any amount of time in the sea was exhausting, which was sad. I appreciate this could be beyond the control of the resort but it’s still an annoyance. The room was reset daily, clean towels and top ups of shower gel etc. Would be nice to have water replaced in the room everyday, as the only source of water was a jug and glass in the lobby. I saw many filling up bottles from the water machine in the restaurant although there were signs asking not to - but there weren’t many other options. A water machine in the lobby would be a been nice. The back door to our room did not lock, and the front door had issues locking. The room decor is a bit tired, but comfortable enough, and at least AC was working so that was a bonus. Gardens were beautiful, tennis court and equipment was old and tired.
