On arrival was given free upgrade to family room which was great. Hotel was extremely clean and tidy. Staff were all friendly. Food was delicious and a great variety to choose from. Hotel was in a great location for beach shops bars and restaurants and about a 5 minute walk to harbour and main strip. Only criticism I can think of there didn’t seem to be enough bowls for breakfast over than that 10/10. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

This Hotel is absolutely amazing. The staff on reception are always available for help with anything and go above and beyond to facilitate your needs. The food is excellent, buffet style so you can eat as much or as little as you want and there is always a wide variety cooked to perfection by the excellent chef and his team. The waiters and waitresses are absolutely brilliant and always helpful also giving advice on quality wines, they again go out of their way to do what they can to make sure you are looked after. The hotel rooms are spotlessly cleaned every day unless you ask them not to. Everything about this Hotel is just excellent !! So warm and friendly the ambience around the place is just so relaxing. If you want a trip out, the hotel can arrange it for you, there is entertainment in the hotel every night you can take part or simply watch from your balcony. The location of the hotel is just a 2 minute walk to the beach. The pool is cleaned every night the pool bar and staff are excellent. All in all this hotel offers everything you want in a typical warm friendly greek atmosphere which I would recommend to anyone. Thank you to ALL the people at Albatros Spa and resort for giving us such a fantastic time, we will definitely return !!

The hotel staff are pleasant & polite & happy to help. Beds are quite firm but comfortable the rooms are spacious & have everything you need. We had a superior room which overlook the pool. Most nights they had entertainment on which was quite loud in your room but did finish at about 10:30. Breakfast had plenty of choices & was good dinner was ok you could always find something. But we preferred breakfast the best. If you like cats there’s plenty of them around the hotel & surrounding areas. The local bus service was good & within walking distance of the hotel. Spinalonga is well worth booking up very interesting.

This is a lovely hotel, my first impression in the lobby was traditional hotel. However our room (superior room) was modern light and airy, a good size. My husband and I found the beds too hard, would have preferred a mattress that was a little softer. Our pillows too were quite firm but was quickly replaced on request. Room was cleaned every day, fresh bedding and towels almost daily. We found the whole of the hotel was pristine, hats off to the cleaners who worked tirelessly keeping everything looking immaculate. We used only one of the 2 pools, very cold, just have to take the plunge. Aquaaerobics was great fun, takes place 3 times a week. Could not fault the outdoor areas, lots of sun beds with parasols, lots of seating under shade when the sunshine got a little too much, even sofas which offered a better level of comfort. Entertainment took place several times during our week long stay, this included Greek cookery lessons, wine tasting and traditional Greek music and dance evenings. I rated this hotel as 4*, I would have given it 5*, however the food let this hotel down. There was a great selection to choose from at both breakfast and eve i g meal, but the fact that all hot food was virtually stone cold really was disappointing. The food was tasty but just not enjoyable when it’s not hot, cold stews, moussaka amongst other things. I feel this is an issue that needs addressing by the hotel management asap, we heard many complaints regarding g this, it seems unfair on the kitchen staff when they work so hard but cold food is totally unacceptable. This hotel is very close to the beach and shops. I would return but would probably book on a bed and breakfast basis and also providing a superior room was available
