We stayed three nights and could not fault it. The staff were without exception friendly and efficient and were able to grant us a later check-out so we could transfer easily to our next accommodation. The breakfasts were excellent, lots of choice and tables continuously being cleared/cleaned so there was always a spare clean table available. We had a harbour-view room which had a lovely view of the fortress. As someone else has mentioned, neither the balcony nor the room had anywhere you could eat, however Herb's Garden restaurant on the roof provided very good food/wine at fair prices and the service was excellent. So much so we invited friends who were also in town to dine there with us and they were more than happy with our choice. Nearby down at the port there is a large parking area where for 3 Euros per entry you can leave your car indefinitely. So if you do not need to use your car for one or two days, it still only costs 3 Euros entry fee to leave it there. Close to the hotel is a supermarket and, if you have already been travelling a while, a service laundry: ''Laundry Center'' which we also highly recommend for a quick turnaround and freshly cleaned and folded clothes (7 Euros a load). We have no hesitation recommending Lato: easy walk into the centre and quiet at night too.

We loved our stay. The breakfasts were very good, the staff very friendly and everything clean and pleasant. Our 'comfy ' room' really had no table so eating a Room service meal was a problem. We loved our stay. The breakfasts were very good, the staff very friendly and everything clean and pleasant. Our 'comfy ' room' really had no table so eating a Room service meal was a problem. There was therefore a lost opportunity as the very nice balcony, which had one chair and a table could not be used as the rest of the balcony was occupied by a huge air-conditioning unit that could have been hung on a wall. That would have been a lovely place (with its great view of the bay and fort) to sit for a meal, sitting on the beds is really not nice to do. loved it all the same.

“Good city hotel”

We stayed for two nights to do a bit of local sightseeing . Location excellent . Staff friendly and helpful . Room clean and comfortable and breakfast very good . We did not use the evening restaurant. We booked a harbour view - I think that was better than the rooms facing the city view .

“Good hotel.”

Good but small rooms. And we were in a superior room. We did have a sea view balcony which was good but you don’t want one with a city view balcony. Breakfast had plenty of choice. The rooftop restaurant was also good with views over the harbour.

“Handy Overnight pre-flight”

Stopped here for a night before a morning flight out. Very handy - centrally located near the port and only ten minutes drive to the airport. Comfy room with great shower after two weeks of random Greek plumbing. Convenient car parking four minutes walk away with space to drop bags at the hotel.
