“Travelling with young children”

Travelled here with family (4 adults and 3 children) and really couldn’t fault this hotel, if I was to be really picky maybe the rooms are a little on the small side but they are clean and comfortable. The staff here though are a real credit, from the moment we arrived we were welcomed with smile... more

Travelled here with family (4 adults and 3 children) and really couldn’t fault this hotel, if I was to be really picky maybe the rooms are a little on the small side but they are clean and comfortable. The staff here though are a real credit, from the moment we arrived we were welcomed with smiles and felt all the staff members throughout our stay were excellent. My wife has a gluten allergy and there was always plenty of choices to eat. My daughter used the kids club and loved it in there. Just a few special mentions to kids club staff, and the rest of the entertainment crew and the restaurant staff for helping with the gluten free choices, Nikki at the swim up bar was awesome at keeping the drinks flowing too. Would highly recommend this to families.

Just returned from a fantastic family holiday. The hotel was excellent in every way. Great food, entertainment and well situated with it's own section of beach just over the road. Special mention to John Unga Bunga and George from the entertainment team, Stavros at the pool bar, Vlad the photographer and the restaurant manager (sorry didn't get your name), but all the staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough to help. No problem obtaining sunbeds, with three outdoor pools and an indoor pool. Also only 15 minutes transfer from the airport. We has such a fantastic time that we are already planning our next visit!! Thank you all xx

I just got back from Sol Marina Beach so, whilst everything's fresh in my mind, I wanted to add my review, split into positives (lots!) and negatives (very few!): Positives - The food is fantastic. Great variety, brilliant quality, switched up every day. I particularly loved the desserts! Even the snack bar was brilliant, with plenty of fresh Greek salad, chips (good ones!), and freshly cooked gyros every day. Shout out to Isla as well - brilliant staff, lovely food and a real beach club vibe - make sure you book! - Lots of sunbeds! The hotel was full, but we always managed to find beds and there didn't seem to be the typical "towels on sunbeds at 6am"mentality...which we loved! - Great pools! We loved the swim up bar pool but the others were fab too, especially the kids pool with the water slides. Nice to have an indoor option too, though we didn't use it - Amazing staff. Special shout out to the brilliant guy who seemed to be the maitre d in the restaurant. He had such a warm and kind manner, was very friendly and welcoming and everyone in the restaurant was smiley, happy and kept the place running beautifully. Thank you so much! - Great location only 15 mins from the airport, by the beach, plus a nice selection of shops and restaurants. - Most UK flights come in/leave late and it was so handy to be able to use a room for an hour before leaving (as we'd already checked out) to shower, charge phones etc. It was also a bonus to have lockers to leave passports etc in. We arrived very late and were checked in quickly, luggage stored, and directed to the restaurant for a really good buffet which was much appreciated after travel! - Great shops in the hotel, including a really decently-priced shop to buy pool floats, snacks, gifts etc. Negatives (Only a couple!) - Our room (704) was quite tired and small. I think it was just a case that it would be next in line for a refresh! Not a deal-breaker though. - The animation team weren't the best (viewing this from a British adult's perspective). One night was almost all in French - this is fine, but give us a heads up if that's the case! - Could do with some more info in the room e.g. food timings, reminder to book Isla, pool opening times, resort map and how to work the aircon. Overall this is a REALLY good value hotel. My 11 year old niece absolutely loved it, as did us 2 adults. I am very fussy and used to adults only hotels, so for me to like it is definitely an endorsement!
