Amazing hotel and one of the best holidays we have been on. Summary of a very long review :) Rooms We stayed in a deluxe room and it was gorgeous. The deluxe rooms have lifts up if you need them (only 2 stories) and are really new (think they were built in 2020). There is only around 16 deluxe rooms at the moment, but they are building more when we were here! Would 100% recommend booking the deluxe rooms, I don’t think it was much extra, but you get a king bed + a twin, double shower/sinks and a gorgeous balcony. Definitely worth it, in my opinion. Pools/resort Lovely choice of pools, one by the deluxe rooms, one by the regular rooms and then a rooftop pool. There were plenty of beds while we were there, no need to reserve, but it was relatively quiet at the beginning of June. Loungers are super comfy. Towels cost 1€ to rent a day which we did, super nice towels. Pools are quiet during the day, no music, super relaxing. I bought a spa package for the second day and it was amazing! The whole spa team are lovely and it was such a great experience. Not too expensive either, I had a 4 treatment deal for 100€ which is super reasonable. Amazing massages!! The animation team was one of the highlights of our holiday, wonderful people who work so hard. Not too pushy, but encouraging people to get involved. We did so many activities, ping pong, archery, pétanque, Greek lessons during the day. They also have a selection of games you can borrow at all times. I would not agree with some other comments that this hotel is catered only to the French? All the animation team speak multiple languages, it is incredibly impressive, no issues with communication and they often helped when playing games with other guests! The night time shows are not our type of thing, but we did go to the Greek night, and jumbo night which were really fun and although mostly in French we could understand what was going on! There was quite an even split between French and English guests when we were here in June, this might change but I certainly wouldn’t say that the hotel is only for French holidaymakers. Food We really enjoyed the food. Classic all inclusive. Breakfast was always lovely, cereals, fruit, meats, cheese and then classic cooked breakfast on top. Lovely freshly squeezed orange juice. Coffee wasn’t brilliant, but we are self proclaimed coffee snobs lol. Lunch and dinner were just as nice, good variety despite the hotel being quite small. Meat and veggie options, with some really lovely salads. They do some nights that have more traditional Greek food, moussaka, gyros, Biram and sea food, but there were always classic meat and veg, pizza ect, if you wanted to try something new. Deserts were always lovely too, with ice cream every night. General area We had a 25/30min transfer from the airport. You can get the bus into the city very easily from the top of the road (bus stop 11, Gouves). There isn’t much in Gouves, just the beach, which is lovely. We did get the bus into Heraklion, but probably wouldn’t again. Not much to do, maybe 1-2 museums and not a huge amount of shopping either, but we did get a lovely coffee and lunch out. Seems to be some really lovely places to eat but not much else. Overall we really enjoyed our trip. It was our first time visiting Greece and we had huge luck with the weather (low-mid 30’s everyday). The animation team made our holiday though. Wonderful people that deserve the world. “Clean , Fun, Orgainsied & friendly”

We were met by lovely Vasilli and later his mum Maria & made very welcome, Vasilli has THE magic touch with all tech ( good to know) staff there soon discovered we were english among a lot of fun filled french as they all seem Multi Lingual there was no problem. Ents team led by Douglas were amazing, made huge friends of his crew Enzo, Evan, Ambra, Hagar and Emma , who constantly showed thier love and appreciation of us joining in:-) Even the bar ladies who've worked there 2 decades ( that speaks volumes)were new friends , dining room crew with Danny at the helm were constantly clearing up quietly in the background. The hotel is the cleanest ive EVER seen. And lets not forget the Spa.. Oh the Spa. GO see Haroula and Irene, they are goregous humans who will get your skin ready for a nice even tan then rub your aches away - wonderful - they need a propre roof, or even justa tarpaulin - only stress was i might have been cancelled if it rained . Its so close to the beach too, great food. All in all 10/10 We had hug after hug after hug on leaving Day. Book it.

“Amazing hotel and staff”

This hotel is amazing, from the food choices, staff, animation team, cocktails and all drinks, the pool, to the cleanliness and decor of the whole hotel, our room was superb. Nothing to complain about even the hotel being built next door didn’t bother us.

We stayed here for 7 days and it was absolutely fabulous! The hotel itself was amazing but the staff were on another level! Everybody was so friendly and always looking to help. The bar lady Elena was was so kind and polite. A highlight of our holiday was a couples spa package which we split over the Tuesday and Friday. The ladies Haroula and Irene were brilliant. The were very kind and put me at ease when in such an intimate setting. They are amazing at what they do and I'm glad we had the opportunity to have treatments with them twice! We will be visiting again for sure.
