Gutted to say that we really didn’t have a great time. Had high expectations for this place as we have stayed at Atlantica’s before, we travelled during half term week so expected the hotel to be packed, but it was only half full and we were told by rep and hotel staff it was low season - this was not advertised but TUI meaning that the restaurants, kids club, activities, entertainment were all not running at full programme. Flight & Check In Flight was amazing, transfer fast but on arrival at the hotel there was 1 staff member on reception checking in, there was a full coach, meaning we queued for an hour to check in - so disappointing and unacceptable. Checking in on app online made zero difference. By time we had checked in it was 11pm at night pitch black, we were sent to our room given zero directions so just wandered around eventually another guest showed us our block. Whilst in the queue my parents and my son were sitting in the reception bar area. I asked for drinks for them and was told no by the waitress as we hadn’t checked in yet, despite the fact we arrived at a time we missed dinner so I think the least they could do is allow you to have a drink from the bar whilst rest of your party is waiting in a huge queue to check in. Kids Club This size hotel should have two sessions per day for a 6 year old, they only had on, very frustrating. I have to say the staff in here were amazing though, my son really enjoyed himself was just disappointed he couldn’t go more. There was no evening parties for the children ( it was Halloween ) and disappointingly there was no outdoor area for them to enjoy. Food Restaurant food was very nice,a lot of choice and very attentive staff. We opted to sit outside as much as possible as found it extremely noisy in there. There is I think 4 a la carte and there is a ridiculous system of going on an app at 11am to book a table for the next day, I tried every day and couldn’t get a table so we didn’t get to try any of them which really annoyed me! Reception wouldn’t help either. Beach Stunning, lifeguard there all day. The waves were very high but it was beautiful. Rooms Very nice but I found quite run down and in need of deep clean maintenance. On arrival there was a hair band covered in hair hanging from one of the hooks in bathroom which shows it wasn’t that thorough a clean also hair in shower. The daily visits was minimal, a mop clean towels and empty bins. Pools All the pools are STUNNING but FREEZING- we didn’t use them once it is such a shame and pointless having them! This is a regular comment it seems I don’t understand why they don’t heat them. They are all salt water except the kids splash pool meaning when my son did try the pool it aggregates his eczema he came out screaming. Entertainment and activities Minimal - apparently low season so small programme. My son was unwell for two days and I took three pieces of toast out of restaurant one morning and was stopped by waitress who got manager, I explained what it was for and she was so rude to me I lost my rag with her. Needles to say I took it anyway. I wouldn’t return here, it’s 3 star not 5 in my view

What can I say, read so many good reviews. I wanted 5 star for our first family holiday. I under stand its end of season but half the entertainment team had gone home and food was only half out for us. Crap communication from TUI about anything. WiFi doesn’t work. About a hundred power cuts, some during the night making all lights come on and wake up children. Tennis courts etc tired. This is a 3 star hotel at best, probably was 5 start ten years ago. Dirty pools, broken parts around pools at hotel rooms. Cockroaches in rooms even after they have cleaned the rooms. And don’t get me started on the smells around the hotel. Major damp issues and poor ventilation in indooor pool. Save your money and go else where

This is not a 5* hotel, which I’ve stayed in many, we found the whole experience from start to finish average, the gym equipment was dated and very dirty, children where also using the equipment unsupervised, the dining experience was something else, you were herded in like cattle and were made to feel hurried along, staff just standing around talking, food was average, the à la carte ( that’s a misrepresentation of the word)restaurants had a limited menu and again were made to feel hurried. The room we stayed in was not suitable for our group and when we spoke with the reception staff we were made to feel like we were a nuisance and in conclusion had to shut up and put up, this is not the hotel for you if you are wanting a relaxing time away, we need a holiday to get over this one!!!
