“Nice Family staying at Eliros”

Very kind staff, beautiful beach and overall good experience. Discrete animation not pushing for you having activities, vey good breakfast, the dinner is fine considering the amount of clients they have to serve. Our room was ok but it depends on the room is located I think.

Stayed for a week on a half board deal at the beginning of June. Definitely not a 5 star hotel but there are some nice touches: Arrived early hours in the morning. Checked in and was asked to pay the environmental fee in cash 70 euros. They had made up a couple of cold plates of food to eat before going to the room. I paid for a superior double front sea view room. Room no 252 you could see the sea but it also overlooked the entertainment stage and the beach restaurant. The room was nicely decorated and had a few nice touches such as a free bottle of wine. Refillable metal water bottles. Nice bathroom with power shower, body wash shampoo etc and cleanliness was good.bed was ok not super comfy. And they didn’t refill any water in the room. Breakfast buffet was ok offering the usual cereals, omelettes, continental etc. they did serve really nice filtered coffee. The juice’s weren’t fresh but from concentrate. On the half board deal you had the option of switching the evening meal to lunch if you told reception by 7:30pm the day before. lunch was poor very limited choice of food. You could also eat at the beach restaurant one day a week but only buffet which again was shockingly poor. For the a la carte menu at the beach restaurant you had to pay extra even if all inclusive and they offered bland meals so wasn’t worth it. They do good cocktails though. The evening meal buffet was better and generally had a good variety of food but some dishes were cold or lukewarm. Drinks at the evening meal on half board also weren’t included not even water. But there is a supermarket across the road which sells drinks a lot cheaper than the hotel. The grounds of the hotel are nice and well kept. The hotel is on the beach and the beach is amazing. Free to use sun loungers which are comfy. And you can get fresh beach towels everyday. They also offer a gym which is very small and includes a few treadmills, some dumbbells up to 20kg and a small multi gym machine. The sauna wasn’t working and they have a steam room you can use if you book. On the last day they offer an all inclusive deal for 15 euros per person and as our flight was late at night we opted for this but again certain drinks and food weren’t included. You can book to use their shower facilities which is good. Overall the staff were friendly and attentive enough. It’s a good base to stay to explore other areas of Crete. Probably wouldn’t return to this hotel although it’s one of the nice ones in the Georgioupoli area

I'm currently staying here with my boyfriend, its our first time to the hotel and Greece. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL IF YOU WANT LUXURY. ITS NOT WORTH IT. The hotel is very nice to look at and it's spotlessly clean, cleanliness is very important to us. I want to start by saying, we got the hotel on a discounted rate through TUI for around 1600 each, 10 nights and all inclusive. The hotel is now showing prices for the same stay for around 3-4000! Yes it's classed as a five star, but it really isn't. We have stayed at 5 star hotels and they literally can't do enough for you and you constantly have people following you around waiting on you. These are the reasons why I say its not a 5 start hotel: Charges for minibar. There was no gifted minibar. No all inclusive after midnight No pool waiter service. No lifeguards(find it bizarre when it's a family hotel) Very slow bar service, there is only one person at the bar serving. Also very slow getting drinks in the restaurant. Tip boxes everywhere. Very poor selection of food, no kids food. They say fresh orange juice and its obviously from concentrated. Room service is chargeable. The gym has barely any equipment. Poor selection of premium spirits. . We have stayed I'm far better 5 star hotels and this doesn't live up to a 5 start rating. I would've literally cried if we had paid the 3000+ each. The breakfast selection and quality could be so much better. The sausage and bacon are very poor, it's the hotdog/cocktail sausages. The tea time selection is very very limited, I could count 4 main meal selections and what all inclusive hotel doesn't serve chips! The room we have is very noisy, it's over the kitchen and there is banging from all the cutlery etc very early in the morning. Overall, we had very high expectations for this hotel and we are very disappointed.
