What can I say that hasn’t been written? Fab, views, comfy bed, and what makes it are Andreas, Maria and all the staff at the restaurant, bar, shop. So friendly, hard working nothing too much trouble to make your stay great! The Food was so good! Such good value! Twenty mins by bus to Chania or ten mins to Aghia Marina the other way! We did a couple of trips on the little train visiting villages around and the Hotel can book them for you! Hope to return again next year!😊

What a fab place to stay! The hotel is on the main road between Chania and Agia Marina with lovely beaches and several good restaurants within walking distance. Our room (304) was stunning, a huge picture window looking across the tiny harbour and out to sea, very comfortable and clean with a balcony for breakfast and/or glass of wine in the evenings. We only stayed for four nights so did not explore a lot of the island, but caught the bus to Chania one day which is well worth it, and Agia Marina on another day, again well worth it with an endless sandy beach and small marina. A lovely walk is along the road and beach to the church on the headland with lots of places for a drink or coffee along the way. Buses are cheap and very regular with stops just a couple of minutes' walk outside the hotel. The hotel restaurant serves good food, we had an evening meal and one breakfast here - the mini-market on site sells all the basics you need for snacks too. We chose local restaurants for the other evenings, all within easy walking distance of the hotel, many of them are right on the beach so you get a lovely sea view and sunset if you're there at the right time. Prices are very reasonable - around 30-40euros ( for 2 people) for a light starter, main meal and wine. Staff at the hotel are all very friendly and helpful, we're not "pool" people but the atmosphere around the hotel was good, with quiet background music around the pool area. If you have a late check out, you can request a room for the day if available but you will need to pay the going day rate for this (the same as lots of other hotels). However, there is a place to store your luggage for the day with lockers and showers (very basic...) but do the job!

I cannot praise this hotel enough ! We stayed as a family with two teenagers for a week. We used the hotel as a base to travel around different parts of Crete over the week and wanted somewhere that was self catering. We stayed in a superior room which I think was worth doing as the rooms were spacious and great views - our room was 203 - highly recommend this room for the view . The hotel is family run and also run the bar / restaurant/ mini market - you could not ask for kinder or friendlier people - the food in the restaurant was superb and the cocktail happy hour 5euros was the some of the best I’ve ever had - if you like mojitos then you have to try it here ! Air con is extra at 9 euro per day but a MUST - and there is an environmental tax of 10euro for the week- 10 mins to the right of the hotel wallowing there are lovely restaurants by the beach and the beach is lovely and great for snorkelling - we visited Chania on the bus - easy 20 min ride in and back from the hotel and we went to elofinissi beach ( white sands and turquoise waters) - rethymnon an hour away worth a visit. The Greek night on a Tuesday was an absolute highlight of the holiday too set on by the hotel . I always look on these sites in the hope I can feel happier to go to somewhere and I cannot re assure you enough that this hotel and its staff will not dissapoint ! AND on top of all that there was no towels on sun beds - an absolute hate of mine on holidays - when the sunbeds were gone they just bought more out - so perfect !
