On 23 January 2020, the new Balearic Law against Tourism Excesses entered into force, which prohibits all-inclusive deals with unlimited alcoholic beverages. Only a maximum of three alcoholic beverages per guest will be served during lunch and/or dinner.

Practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests are strictly prohibited at hotels, apartments and holiday properties. These practices include climbing from one balcony or window to another and jumping from inappropriate places such as balconies into swimming pools (a practice widely known as ';balconing';). Guests breaking the law will be immediately banished from the property and may be fined, states the law and the corresponding municipal regulations. The hotel/apartment manager or property agent must order said guests to leave immediately, which may require assistance from the security forces.
Failure to comply with the prohibition of practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests will be considered a serious offence. In the Balearic Islands, serious offences are subject to a fine between 6,001 and 60,000 euros.

Amazing place. Perfect location for a chilled holiday, yet within easy reach of Chania centre. The staff here were amazing - Raphael, George and Martha worked so hard on the bar and the rooms were always cleaned to a high standard too. I travelled on my own with my 2 children and sent an email to request a room near to the pool. Upon arrival I had a perfect room Over looking the pool. Will definitely be back. Thank you Nontas for an amazing 11 days!

Dont confuse this hotel with Nontas suites which are across the road. Had a great time. All staff are fab, bar staff Raphael, George and Martha work tirelessly all day and add to the poolside vibe. Cleaners do an amazing job but didn't get any of their names. We went with Jet 2 and were in an outdated poorly equipped room. Not acceptable really for the price we paid. Shower was a shambles, if you want to make more than a coffee in the room then forget it. Beds comfortable. The refurbished do rooms look amazing. Small pool and poolside bar serving a small menu and the usual drinks. No branded ice creams for the kids but do have vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. There are about 25 or so sunbeds, not all with umbrellas so limited shade. There's also a comfy Balinese style bed. No towels at dawn here either, thank God! Beds did seem to be all taken by 11am. Beaches close by. Left or right out if hotel then turn down the roads and all lead to the beach. £15 euro for 2 Beds and a brolly which is standard price anywhere I think. Good selection of bars and restaurants close by. All in all had a lovely holiday but there are better accommodations at this price point.

**Positive Points:** 1. The bar staff were fantastic - young, fun, and attentive to guests. 2. The cleaning staff were excellent, ensuring the rooms were spotless daily with fresh sheets, bedding, and thoughtful touches like tidying up after our kids. 3. The hotel was pleasantly uncrowded, with available sunbeds and a no-reserving policy, making it easy to find a spot. 4. Conveniently located near beaches within walking distance. 5. Great shopping options and friendly locals in the vicinity. 6. A variety of good restaurants nearby, allowing for enjoyable dining experiences with a range of Greek food choices. 7. Reasonable pricing for a summer stay with a family of six under £3k. 8. Rooms were spacious enough for three adults. 9. Small TVs in rooms provided background entertainment. 10. Air conditioning available in the rooms. **Areas for Improvement:** 1. The male reception staff appeared disinterested in their roles, lacking helpfulness and seeming judgmental. 2. The air conditioning was charged at €7 per day, with strict instructions to use it only when in the room, causing inconvenience when the room needed cooling at night. Reception staff entering the room within an hour of leaving it on to cool the room before bedtime. It took 2hours to cool the room. 3. Requesting an additional room key required persistence with the reception staff. 4. No luggage room. Expected to leave luggage all day outside, no cameras, ours was ok, but very strange and no awareness this isn’t normal! 5. Unable to keep the room on, even though 6.hours between us leaving and new guests arriving. 7. Jet2 will likely not use the hotel in the future if the reception staff continue to make the front of house part so awkward.
