“Comfortable hotel in excellent location”

I recently stayed 4 nights at Arkadi hotel. As I was travelling in and out of Chania, I stayed in 4 different rooms at different times. Room: Rooms facing the square had a nice view of the old town and even the harbour in the distance. Rooms facing the inner courtyard had a view of other rooms /roof which weren't that great but those rooms were quieter than the square facing ones. All 4 rooms I stayed in were spotless clean, spacious and had a balcony with chairs. Bathrooms were spacious in 3 rooms but a shower booth in one room was extremely small. Location: Location was the best! It was just around the corner from the main bus station where the buses run to other parts of Crete as well as the Chania airport. Supermarket was just next door. Touristic Old town is across the road. Just outside the hotel, there are loads of cafes, restaurants, shops. Breakfast: breakfast available from 7am-10am was brilliant. Good variety of hot and cold dishes. Staff: all the staff at the reception, breakfast room, housekeepers were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend Arkadi Hotel, and Crete in general.

This is an absolutely well-maintained hotel in the heart of Chania and I wish they maintain it that way in the coming years too. The breakfast they serve is good. Very polite reception staff. Special mention needs to be made about the housekeeping - they diligently makeup the room daily. The only minus is the view from the room. My room faced a rather badly maintained building portion, perhaps in the same complex. Maybe the hotel itself should spend a little money to repaint and make that part look good at par with the hotel itself

Had 3 nights here and really enjoyed this modern and clean hotel. Staff were brilliant from front reception to cleaners etc. so friendly and helpful at all times. Nice brekkie. Room faced quite noisy 1886 square which is nice and vibrant but not at night necessarily, one night someone screamed and carried on it seemed all night. Rooms were very nice and had everything we needed. We asked for a kettle and it and a full tray of items as well m, in less than 5 mins

Nice hotel with perfect location near bus station and old town. I really liked breakfast and want especially mention grissini, fresh fruits and vegan cheese. Coffee was from machine but it was good and enough choices. The view from our balcony was on inner ward, where were lots of pigeons, so also… more

Nice hotel with perfect location near bus station and old town. I really liked breakfast and want especially mention grissini, fresh fruits and vegan cheese. Coffee was from machine but it was good and enough choices. The view from our balcony was on inner ward, where were lots of pigeons, so also lots of pigeon poop everywhere. In the fridge were one bottle of water and two bottles of lemonade free of charge.
