Located just a 10 minute walk away from Agios Nikolaos town and the beach is just across the road which is great! The food boasts character of the local cuisine with Greek night featuring gyro, pita , moussaka and Greek salads as well as the usual pasta/meat option's. Which was extremely tasty. The room is clean supplying towels and to our surprise after a long hot day forgetting to get water the mini fridge was stocked with a few chilled bottles which was very much appreciated. Overall I’d recommend this lovely hotel making it a very authentic Greek holiday.

“Great place to stay”

Nice hotel with plenty of space with 2 pools and the beach too Quiet relaxing venue but not good if you aren't very mobile Lots of steps

The whole hotel gives a nice impression, throughout our stay, we had no problem with anything. The staff was absolutely amazing, everyone was very helpful and kind. The rooms were adequate, the only bad thing was the double beds which were made up of two single beds that were constantly moving apart if one got close to the gap. The food was absolutely amazing, and the choice of food was great. The hotel even offers a gluten-free food selection, if you are on a gluten-free diet the chef will show you every dish you can and offer pizza or pasta on your selected day. The way the chef talks to you was absolutely amazing, and he is ready to help. The only negative is that there were no written allergens, so you have to ask the chef every lunch and dinner, but in the end, there was no trouble with that, because he was very helpful. We really enjoyed our vacation here and may even come back sometime

I stayed at this hotel with my wife for 7 nights on an all-inclusive basis. I have to say, this hotel did not meet up to our expectations. Location ********** The hotel is based on the resort town of agios nikolaos in Eastern crete. The hotel is approx 1 hour drive from heraklion Airport and approx a 15 min walk to the town centre. The hotel itself is like an old Greek village, with the rooms being like separate apartments. The hotel is on a very steep incline, with many steps everywhere. If you have any mobility issues or any health problems that stop you from doing moderate exercise, this is not the hotel for you. As to getting too many rooms, you have to climb various steps and go up very steep inclines. The same can be said for agios nikolaos. Some parts are very steep and difficult to get to. Positives ********** Wifi is excellent and easily accessible over the hotel. Most of the staff are friendly and will help you. The rooms are very basic, but there is more than enough for what you need. The location is excellent. Approx 15-20 min walk to the resort centre  there is a pebble beach across the road and a sandy beach 10-15 min walk away. Negatives *********** As the title suggests, there are a lot of extra charges here. I booked an all-inclusive package, and tbh this isn't what I got. For example, when we arrived, we were informed there were 2 different AI packages. Our one was the lower tier. Our AI benefits ran out at 22:45, only got the basic drinks, had to pay extra for cocktails and a safe, etc. I noticed there were a lot of hidden extras at this hotel. Was only given one bottle of water for the room for the whole 7 days we were there. It's very strange for an AI hotel. The drinks were probably the worst I have ever had at an AI resort. The beer ( local brand) was worse than carling, and the cocktails looked like they were made at a Childs birthday party. If you want a decent cocktail or beer, you have to pay extra. The food was ok. It was just very repeative. I don't think I have seen so much pasta in my life. The pool bar guy who serves you drinks can be a bit hit & miss. Sometimes he is ok, sometimes he is very rude. During the day it can be rather boring by the pool. No entertainment, no music, nothing. I'm not expecting a club 18-30 disco, but some background music would be nice. Conclusion ************* I kind of feel i  really didn't get value for money at this hotel. I paid £1200 for 7 nights all inclusive at a supposly 4* resort. However, from my experience, the hotel is lacking in numerous areas to be a 4*, and is more a 3* hotel. If the price was £400 less than I paid, I believe that would be fair. I believe there are better hotels nearby for value for money than here.
