“Beautiful Hotel but wouldn't recommend it .”

Panorama is a lovely hotel we had a sea view room which was newly refurbished. Only had maid service once during our week . The views were fantastic. Panorama is a lovely hotel we had a sea view room which was newly refurbished. Only had maid service once during our week . The views were fantastic. The lady in the pool bar and the lady round the pool were both so lovely and helpful . We loved the food and there was always plenty of choice . The bar at night had only one barman so there was always a long queue . There was only entertainment on one night not good enough 😞. But the worst thing was we had to set an alarm for 5 am to get a sunbed and sometimes we were not lucky enough to get one . Something seriously needs done about this . It's such a shame because it's a lovely hotel . But we won't be back and wouldn't recommend it .

Myself and my boyfriend are in our late twenties and overall had a good experience here. We checked in to the hotel later at night and although the check in process was quite quick the man behind reception was not very forthcoming with information about the hotel or chat in general. I found that any other interactions I had during the week with other reception staff was quite abrupt, and they did not come across as very welcoming on approach. When checking out similarly we were given no information about luggage storage/shower facilities even though I had mentioned we had a later flight. I felt I had to prize the information out of the lady behind the desk. For information there is shower facilities for those leaving later in the day (although they are not very pleasant) which have to be pre-booked which I was not told until later in the day. One of the younger men on reception did manage to find a 15 minute window in the booked schedule for me to use which I was very grateful for. Our room was lovely and looked exactly like the photos - very comfortable beds however was only cleaned once during our week stay. The WiFi in the room/across the resort was great for both of us no, issues at all there. In general I never had high expectations for all inclusive food but the food here was actually okay/good. 4 of the nights we decided to go down to eat at the beach front as the dinner which we already had decided we would do prior to our arrival - the dinner options were however extremely repetitive and they had little to no traditional Greek options which was very disappointing. Breakfast was great and lunch again was basic but we had no complaints. The terrace bar is amazing especially around sunset, the terrace bar at night was the main thing that let us down. Some nights we would spent 10/15 minutes queuing for 2 drinks (2 drinks max. rule) as there was only one bar tender serving at night all week. Because of this it felt at night we spent most of the time queuing and not sitting in each other’s company. The all inclusive drinks stops at 11pm too, not an issue for us but good to note. Another issue that the hotel need to address is the lack of sun loungers or perhaps the sun loungers that happens - if you are not up at the crack of dawn there is a slim chance that you will get sun loungers early in the day. Even though there are signs stating not to do this, it does happen and is not being controlled. I often woke to watch the sunrise at 6:15 and would see people from my balcony starting to go down with towels to then go down myself at 9am and not find one sun lounger across the two pools however many were free for hours with towels just laying across them. The hotel has free buse to the beach however, we tended to walk to the alternative beach (15 min walk downhill which was hard coming back up during the heatwave). We also took advance of the hotels bus in to Heraklion which was €10pp return, they do not advertise the pricing until you ask about it. The resort can be seen as secluded but the views are amazing and that was the main selling factor for me when booking. Agia Pelagia in general is amazing and I would definitely return to the area.

“Lack of entertainment , room not the same as photos”

Lovely hotel , although the room we had book on the website was nothing like the room we got when we arrived, and we were not accommodated for a change. Lack of entertainment, and no reason for all inclusive to end at 11pm and have to pay after that.

The hotel itself was lovely surrounded by beautiful views. However it’s quite a walk to get to the beaches but the hotel does provide transfer to one of them. The cleaning service was questionable. The cleaners didn’t give us any fresh towels, we had to go to reception to get new towels. They didn’t get rid of any of the dirty towels so we accumulated quite a few by the end of the holiday. The all-inclusive is very standard. We had to pay extra for an iced latte and had to pay for certain alcoholic drinks. The food is what you would expect for an all inclusive. But having said that the hotel does provide entertainment, all of the staff were lovely and tried to make our stay enjoyable. The terrace at night is beautiful as you get to see the sun set and this is where everyone usually goes for the evening to enjoy their drinks.
